"I waited in line for merchandise I had already paid for on line. When I asked a saleswoman to get my order from the back she obliged and left the bag with my items behind the desk because she was told there was a “procedure” before I could take the package. After waiting another 10 minutes, the cashier called my name and handed me the bag- no ID- just gave me $200.00 worth of merchandise. That’s her idea of “procedure”. Never again!"

"I went to the store in Montclair with the intent to replenish my wardrobe. The sale associates completely ignored my presence. I had a lot of clothes in my hands and was honestly surprised nobody asked me if I needed any help. As I was about to pay one lady rudely tells me we are closed. “Your site says you are opened until 6 today “ I replied. “ No the web site is wrong. Goodbye!” She said! Even if I was at the cashier and ready to pay, I was literally escorted out! Will never shop Talbots again."

"A special thank you to Lourdes and her associate at Talbots Upper Montclair for going above and beyond! They helped my mother with a return, brought everything curbside so we didn't have to go inside during the pandemic, and also found an additional sweater that my mom loved. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I so appreciate the multiple curbside trips they made in horrible weather. We love penguins, and they had a plethora of penguin items!"

"Shopping at Talbots in Montclair is shopping at a neighborhood store. The sales people always treat you with personal service and often remember the kind of clothes that you like as well as recommending new styles. They are always so helpful and pleasant and make shopping a wonderful experience. The management of that store should be so pleased with the level of professionalism that their staff demonstrates."
