"I LOVE Playa Bowls. Always made fresh unlike other similar places that pre freeze the bases. The taste is better than any other stores. When I’m out running errands, I usually plan to stop by the closest or go out a little out of my way to be sure to pick one up at the end of my trip."

"Updated: The manager reached out to apologize and gave a detailed explanation without excuses. I'm hoping this is a one-off thing and with a bunch of great reviews, it probably is. I placed an order ahead of time for an online pickup. I understand that this location is very busy and have ordered from here a bunch of times and always expect it to take longer than usual. My pickup time was 12:50. I arrived and asked the status at 12:45 and was told that it would be out soon. At around 1:10, when it was clear it wasn't coming out any time soon as people who had placed in-person orders were all getting their orders before mine, I checked again. They could not find my order. In other words, it had not been prepared nor was it on the docket to be prepared. I could no longer wait so I asked for a refund. While the one person was getting my refund all set, another worker told me that in the future I should "tell them when I arrive so they know to look for my order." When I told her I had 25 minutes ago, she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Oh." I've regularly visit a few Playa Bowls locations and I am always patient and understanding. But this experience was extremely disappointing and the lack of care is very telling."
