Bubba's Jersey Hot Digs

"When I heard they were opening a hot dog place on 94 in Vernon I thought "what a great idea ". Apparently lots of people thought the same thing, judging by the crowds they had in their first week or so. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll last long. This is basically a lunch joint in a bedroom community, which I don't believe has enough local industry to support it. It's way down off 94, so there's also zero curb appeal. For Bubba's to succeed they need to establish a niche of customers who make it a point to go there on a regular basis. Quite frankly, between the location, the prices and the menu, I don't see that happening. The hot dogs are $3.75 each, which ain't cheap for a dog. Even more annoying is they hit you with a surcharge for using plastic, which is such an outdated concept for 2024. Any good hot dog joint has their signature dogs with a unique combination of ingredients. The closest Bubba's comes to that is with the "All The Way" which is onions, chili and mustard. Any other dog is your standard dog with up to 3 of the usual toppings you pick. If you haven't been there yet and want to give it a try, hurry on down. Unless they make major changes I don't see them making it too long."

"This place has so much potential. First I want to say that they people there are very friendly. Customer service was top notch First the hotdogs were very burnt. We asked if they had yellow mustard. They said no. What kind of hotdog place does t have yellow mustard When we got our hot dogs the thing was covered in mustard. It was barley eatable because the whole thing was covered and was way to spicy. Had to take all the mustard off which sucked because the raw onions were on the top Very disappointed"

"Ordered extra crispy Cajun fries, instead got soggy undercooked fries. They told me I could get sauteed mushrooms and onions with my veggie burger, they gave me 2 pieces of uncooked mushroom on top."
