"Great people working in the garden center - very knowledgeable about plants on sale and not pushy at all. Prices are a little on the premium side but then the plants and products are of equally higher quality. Sometimes some perfectly looking plants are on sale, can’t beat those prices!"

"Lee Highway/Rt 29 has the best greenhouse plant selection! Well tended plants, staff very friendly & knowledgeable! Staff always working to keep greenhouse tidy. Don’t waste your time at the Gainesville location greenhouse (very disappointing, large greenhouse but plants left dying and not well tended, staff friendly but not working on plant upkeep). Shopping for Wardian case/terrarium plants - Lee Highway the best!"

"Love this place! I go even when I don't plan to get anything. I just like being amongst the plants. It's so peaceful. I enjoy it in all seasons. At Christmas time I love the decorations. They even had cookies and punch for customers to go along with the regular popcorn."

"We lost an Arborvitae and were looking for a pair to flank a stand of 3 mature ones. Two arborists said I'd find the best stock at Merrifield. They had LOTS of emeralds to match mine, in all sizes. I got 2 good looking trees, about 6' tall, delivered. I'll plant them myself, so although I considered larger ones, I got the biggest that came in plastic pots for easiest moving and handling."
