Reviews of Tivoli Apartments
"3 washers for 100+ residents 4 dryers for 100+ residents Gym was closed over 1 year now opened 8-4 while people are at work 3 work out machines for 100+ residents Ceiling /light leak for over a month. Only positive is they support ESA Animals and that’s by law New leasing people so hopefully a change will come soon"
"The place is dirty, the new management is just as bad as the old, and definitely don't expect to be able to use the laundry centers. One has been down for over 5 months. You can rarely get a hold of anyone at the front desk even when they're expecting you. The amount of violence that happens here and gets slid under the rug is unbelievable. Its not safe. The dog lawn is severely overgrown and nobody picks up after their dog. Its also flea infested. Count on roaches EVERYWHERE. Nothing ever gets fixed and things are hardly ever in working order. I would never advise anyone to live here. Just look elsewhere for something worth the amount you pay for rent."
"Its just been a bad time since I moved here. They have laundry units that were gross but worked.. for the first month. Then they just never worked regularly so I just got set up at a lundromat down the street which just cost more but least its dependable. Ive gone without air conditioning for a week now in summer having a 90° apartment so I had to buy my own AC unit. Maintenance saying they fixed the issues when they didnt multiple times. No responses from anyone for days. Cant wait to move next month. Update:its been another two weeks and the AC has never been fixed. Never a word from the leasing office. One more update. Ive moved out and the office never responded to my ac issue in any way. It was months. But they had the time to send a letter saying we must have our carpets professionally cleaned for inspection."
"I moved into what was promised a renovated unit last winter (didn't even have appliances yet because our old apartments' lease was ending and this unit was rushed to be finished with renovations). Once moved in, my partner opened the HVAC closet and from ceiling to floor it was covered in black mold! Maintenance came in and removed half of the drywall on the inside and bleach-cleaned the rest of the salvageable drywall. Months later, it started growing on the leftover drywall and adjacent drywall for the hallway. I got maintenance again, and they sprayed white colored Kilz Mold Spray over it. Then the property management company changed. I had the new maintenance team come in again because it was growing through the spray paint. It was also the heat of the summer and everyone's A/C units were going, which led to flooding into the hallway from upstairs in the HVAC/already mold-infested room. The plastic flooring was peeling up from all the water damage and the maintenance guy had to come in multiple times with his shopvac (towels weren't cutting it). The flooding was going into the kitchen as well now. My cat had a severe upper respiratory infection because of the mold and was sneezing blood constantly. We were advised by our vet that it was not safe for our cat and dog to live there. I also had bronchitis three times in the 9 months of living there, and chronic headaches. Food would spoil fast. There were also water damage lines from the bedroom ceiling working its way down the wall (which was a different wall than the HVAC closet). Mold coming out from under the new cabinet for the bathroom sink. Mold in our bathroom on the trim coming from under the plastic flooring. Who knows how much mold was in the walls of that "newly renovated" apartment. The apartment was no longer "livable", so the property manager gracefully gave us the option for a lease break or move into another unit. The only unit they had available at that time was covered in spray paint of satanic symbols and had rotting fruit in the bathroom area and water damage as well, so we took the lease break. Our cat has stopped sneezing all together since leaving, and I am able to go about my days with no headaches or difficulty breathing. Moving out was the best thing for us. If you want to move here, great. But make sure you check every wall, floor board, cabinets, etc., before you do."
"This is the WORST place I have EVER lived. Constant water leaks, ac going out, toilet ALWAYS over flowing, bugs, mold (I’ve been sick for the past 2 months because everything is rotting and molding from water damage due to our AC leaking BUCKETS full of water for over a month). Honestly, this place is lucky we don’t sue them considering the fact we have a 2 year old living here too and she often gets sick living here too. We have called time after time again requesting maitenance assistance and EVERY SINGLE TIME they dismiss the problem and don’t show back up for months. We are moving out this month & I would strongly encourage you to stay away from this apartment complex & the people who work here because they are RUDE & INCONSIDERATE."
