"Dr. Choi and her staff, to whom I was assigned when Dr. Veech left, are very kind. The practice is 3 blocks from my house. My frustration is I have waited 47 minutes on the phone listening to the same messages and got cut off 5 times calling back. This while I have a new autoimmune condition, Giant Cell arteritis, that took me to Retreat ER Jan 2 with pinching pains in my left temple and eye flashes. People have gone blind with this if not addressed. I could not get an appointment during time frame ER said to follow with my primary. I walked down to ask for an appointment and a helpful nurse gave me advice about the new problem sleeping. Melatonin. By the time I was seen on Jan 9, the prednisone countdown pack ER prescribed had gone from 50mg to 40mg for 2 days. When I got Dr Choi's Rx I had to go up to 50mg again. I was happy for the caring quick visit and that I could get bloodwork the next day, not in March after all. My checkout paper said right temple instead of left. There is no way to leave a message like with Dr Veech's old Boulevard office. Attempts to set up the portal did not work. I walked down twice to get a link sent but the email neither came while I sat there or days later. Nothing now Jan 23. At least Labcorp's portal was easy to set up and I got my lab results over the next 2 days to review with a Physician Assistant friend. Two specialist to whom Dr Choi referred me have yet to touch base, so it's time I reach out to them. By contrast, the vascular surgeon ER sent me to for an ultrasound to diagnose this and look at more arteries worked me in on Jan 4 after calling Jan 3."

So I don’t know if she even has a new patient availability but if you are looking for a family doctor you are single you are married and have kids whatever I would recommend Dr. Choi. I can’t say anything bad about her or her staff. She and I definitely show up to work every day if you know what I mean."
