"Im thoroughly impressed with my unit. Albeit a few minor issues that need to be fixed most of which trivial . Im new to the apartment complex but if anything or my opinion changes I will update but I will start off by saying the staff in the office are top tier very friendly very communicative and resourceful.More specifically PM Bill Springle helped me every step of the way to get in my unit. Due to move out issues with previous unit I received an upgrade unit and It is very very beautiful words cannot speak enough on how graceful that man is and I was nothing short of worrisome up until move in but Mr.Springle handled each bit of it with class and remarkable patience…. The unit itself is beautiful spacious and quiet overall Im very happy to call this place home for the foreseeable future. If youre interested in moving be aware that you will fall in love with the community -Robert Parker Jr"
"*BEWARE* I was a resident of Renew Banbury Lake Apartments for over two years and it was a miserable time for me! The first floor unit was promised to be ready for me just before the holidays after the walk through uncovered many issues. Upon move in, only a few of the discrepancies were repaired. There were no handles on the new kitchen cabinets. One of the toilets leaked badly. The dishwasher did not work. The garbage disposal did not run and often caused water backups in the kitchen and laundry area. It took over a year to get those fixed by an unprofessional maintenance staff. Additionally, there was an ongoing major water leak from the hallway wall that they never solved and ruined my rugs with mold and mildew. There was a ceiling leak from the second floor apartment that eventually caused my ceiling to collapse in the master bedroom after the staff failed to solve the issue. The pool was closed for the majority of the last two summers due to maintenance issues and now the tennis courts have been paved over to help solve the parking shortage. Visitor cars get towed every weekend due to the lack of parking and a predatory towing contractor. And for all that there were three rent increases in two years! Things have not improved under the new management. In fact, they took many residents to court blaming them for the broken infrastructure of the over 50 year old structur! I was a part of that group and the court dismissed the charges. Yes, improvements are happening with the new management but only at the surface. BEWARE! Sincerely, Angela A."
"Apartment complex was nice especially being the tennis court was why I moved to this location. Soon as they was purchased by new company they took the tennis court out. Staff is tremendously sorry for every year I been here there has been new property manager that does not do what they say they are going to. If you are looking for a money hungry place to stay by all means they will welcome you with open arms! You best had to paying attention to your utilities because they will mess up the dates to double bill you."
"Whilst I don't know yet if this will be the location I settle on for financial reasons I did want to leave a review to just state that whatever state this location was in before the change of management they are now beyond amazing. The staff are admirably polite, helpful, courteous, and communicative(Huge shoutout to Jovante who I think is the heart and soul of this place reaching its new potential). The grounds are beautiful, clean, and give me more the feeling of a secure gated community than an apartment complex. The apartments themselves are in the process of being renovated and despite being built in the 70s have a very lovely modern feel to them. Don't let the poor reviews fool you. Banbury Lake is making big changes from their dark past and it shows."
"This is some of our experiences in Banbury Apartments. This was the WORST rental we have ever had. Krystal does not care about you or the condition of the apartment that you pay rent for every month. From day one we had ROACHES and bugs . We had roaches nesting in our clothes drawers, crawling on our bed, walking on the walls and ceilings and of course in our pantry food. The ONE time pest control was a sticky paper trap placed by the refrigerator. On move in day, We had a nasty stove/oven and dryer/washer. The dishwasher did not dry the dishes, the carpet was not vacuumed, it had 3 huge brown stains in a bedroom and the carpet was left soaking wet. The apartment smelled of wet carpet for a month. We had a huge hole behind the toilet for months. The drywall was never fixed until we moved out and then Krystal had the apartment remodeled. We could see interior of the foundation. Banbury did not care. In the last 4 months of paying rent in Banbury Apartments we had MOLD take over our entire apartment. The maintenance supervisor said to Krystal that the A/C was the problem. Krystal would not take responsibility for the mold in her A/C , kitchen cabinets or pantry floor and walls. The only mold maintenance was to spray a sealant in our cabinets. We lost our all of our dishes, pots and pans, convection oven, food in the cabinets and pantry. We also lost our 6 person table and chairs, clothes, shoes, 4 beds and frames, etc. Krystal did not show any concern. Krystal will add fees onto your rent if you break her rules but she does not follow common courtesy or health rules for the renters. I read the the bad reviews but I thought they were from angry and untrustworthy renters. The reviews are 100% truthful ‼️ Krystal, Please do not apologize. You did not care when we lived there. These are some of the pictures of what you could live through in Banbury Apartments. We now live in an apartment building that is 136 years old!!!! We DO NOT have roaches, bugs, mold nor rotten drywall. The apology below is a LIE‼️‼️ Krystal was in the office when we moved in there in October 2020‼️‼️‼️‼️"
