Reviews of Lakeville Townhome Apartments
"Warning…This review is lengthy. Read at your own risk!!! Lakeville Townhomes is a clean quiet & community. Ideal for single living or families. It’s also conveniently located near shopping, entertainment, and grocery stores. I'm impressed at the square footage to price comps and hope rates remain reasonable and affordable! I can also appreciate the lawn care team and individual water meter readings. Ms. Pat & Parish make a great team! Always kind and just friendly people. Most units are updated with material comparable to the design era and area. Overall low maintenance which works for me. Speaking from experience, I’ve lived in both the 2 and now 3 bedroom unit. Lakeville is nice but it can be better. You can stop here or read on for some of my thoughts about the community over a 8+ year residency. Lakeville, let's step out of our comfort zone and show our residents we appreciate their residency outside of sending yearly contract renewals with the occasional rent increase to include the introductions of the next fad amenity that's nice to have but not a got to have. While I adore my community, I do have some dislikes hence the 4 star rating. For instance, can we have some adult, kid, and furry baby friendly amenities (i.e. dog park, grilling station, swings to accompany the playground). A stop sign at the inner neighborhood intersection would be great seeing how the speed bumps are not a deterrent enough for folks not to mindlessly speed. A kids playing sign at the points of entry in the neighborhood would be wonderful also. I'm not sure about most but it would be nice if the laundry facility could be converted to a fitness center. Let's think of creative way to reuse the sq. footage available!!! Valet trash is nice but it's not worth the monthly fee when you have no use for it. Why do I have to pay an admin fee for a service the company decided to use to making billing easier administratively for the front office??? Long story short, I can do without all the extra fees. Community appreciation events would be nice especially seeing how the mature trees in the courtyard were removed 2 year+ ago for the worlds smallest playground and nothing more. We had to increase our renters insurance from $100k to $300k for what??? We're still waiting on the plans to come to fruition but I digress. Let's also consider back to school events, school supply drive, block party, neighbor meet and mingle, holiday events like costume competitions, pumpkin carving contest, card decorating, kid crafts, egg hunt, cookies and cocoa morning rush, pizza party, Sunday sundae event, breakfast on the go...the list goes on."
"I just toured here and cannot say enough good things about Ms. Pat and how she runs the community. First and foremost, as soon as I entered the office, Pat remembered my name, stood up, and greeted me. She showed me pictures of the floor plan I was interested in since she didn’t have anything to show me, and answered my millions of questions regarding the unit. I have no doubt that she keeps this property in great shape and would recommend these townhomes to anyone looking! Update 1/29/23: I had to cancel my application (about a month ago now) because my boyfriend didn’t feel comfortable moving into a place we couldn’t actually do a walk-through tour of and I gave a written notice that I would have to cancel and explained why. I was very polite and said I’d recommend lakeville to anyone I knew who was looking, thanked her for her efforts and kindness, and apologized for the massive inconvenience of my cancellation and I didn’t even get a response back with well wishes or anything. It’s a bit of a red flag to me that she couldn’t even respond back to say she’d received my email or thanks for my time or anything. Maybe she forgot, but it just makes me feel like only gave good customer service because she wanted something from me. I understand that it was probably an inconvenience that I cancelled but it still gave her a month to find someone else and I know I’m not the first person to cancel. It was nothing personal against her, I just think good customer service would’ve been to reply to my email in some form."
"The area is nice. No one bothers you. If you ever have problems in the home, they send maintenance over to check it out and fix the problem in a timely manner. Since living here for two years, they cut down trees in the grassy area taking shade away. I thought they were going to put a playground area for the children to play but it’s just empty space. A playground would be nice for the kids to have so they are not just sitting in the house or outside playing in the parking lot around peoples cars."
"Don’t let this Neighborhood fool you. First off the women Pat in the Rental office is very nosey. She watches everything if you have guest over and how many. She will also put letters on your door for anything, they should pay her to be security as well. No one wants to feel as if they are being watched. The prices for a 3 bedroom was 1,395 which is crazy for the size of the bedrooms and the area. On top of that you can’t have Items out in your own backyard Area. It has to be basically Empty You here all the road traffic sounds all day and night. The water Bugs and Ants are Bad in the Spring as well. Only reason my husband and I stayed 3 years is him being in Military. I wasn’t bad the first 2 years I even referred 2 of my friends when they where looking for homes. One is currently a tenant and has to find a new home due to the Rental office not renewing leases if you Apply For the COVID Rent Relief Program. This is so terrible, so please do not stay here. Only Good thing I can say is the Cleanliness on the outside!"
