"Took my child in last night and had to leave. ER was empty, no one one else there yet, I Waited in line for about 15 mins. I didn’t see anyone at the desk at first. Then I noticed a lady sitting behind the desk off to my right. I walked up and said hello, she ignored me and kept touching her phone screen. So I said “excuse me,” just in case I was interrupting something, she looked up and said “I don’t work here, the lady just went in the back.” I responded okay, and walked back to where I was standing. I waited about 5 more minutes and to no avail, so I left. I would never go back to this ER I will always find an urgent care else where."
"Going to the ER is scary...I had a recent visit to the Langley ER, and I was in pain, alone and scared. I was greeted with a friendly smile, even though I was hysterically crying. The people at the desk handled me quickly and with care. The wait seemed normal for an ER. I waited about an hour to be seen by the doctor. The doctor....she was awesome! Dr. Miller had such an amazing demeanor about her. She was calm and knowledgeable. She was friendly and straightforward. I don't remember the nurses name, but she was also AWESOME! It was like having my mom right there in the room with me. There's nothing more scary about the ER than to be juggled around like no one in the place knows what they're doing. Everyone I encountered, from the front desk to the SRA that signed me out, was professional and courteous. I have only one complaint. I was let to walk out the door still crying hysterically. Now, I was no longer hurt, but I was in the worst pain of my life..and I've had two children. I was not asked if I would be driving myself home or if someone was able to pick me up. I was in NO shape to drive home. It was only when I got home and fainted (for the first time in my life!) from the pain that I realized driving home was not a good idea. Aside from a bad judgement call, probably my fault, I had a good experience for an ER. Thank you guys for all you do and keep up the good work!"
"Save time and go off base. Was there 3 weeks ago to be seen and after waiting 2 hours to be checked out I left. There was only 1 other person ahead of me in the waiting area. Was seen yesterday and was there for 3 1/2 hrs. After sitting in the back for 2 1/2 hrs, I had to flag down a nurse and ask what I was waiting on. Come to find out they forgot to put my order in for testing, so, they had been waiting on results to come back on testing that was never done! Meanwhile, I listened to my dr sit outside my room chatting (not patient related) for 40 minutes. After complaining, I had one Dr tell me that a 3 1/2 hr wait is common for an ER!!! No way, not when there is barely anyone else in there. Understandable if they are busy. I will save my time and go elsewhere from now on."
"So we waited 3.5 hours simply to be seen. Apparently this Emergency Room becomes At Our Earliest Convenience Room at nights. Not trying to hate on the other patients but we got in well before many others who were seen before us. The receptionist at the desk was quite helpful, however. Once informed that the pain had gotten worse, he came over and shined his little Pen Light on the cut and told the patient he could have some Motrin for the pain while he inquired on our wait and position in line. All in all not a very pleasant experience regardless of the nice receptionist. Snacks would be a good idea if planning on using this Taking Our Time Room. Also, bring a jacket or blanket because it's quite cold in the waiting room. I made the mistake of wearing flip flops. Cheers!"
"If I could I would give it 21/2 stars. Went in for acute pain in my shoulder. Waited for over 21/2 hours in the lobby. During this time i followed those who came after me. On family brought their child who had a fever of 100 degrees and was larthargic. Their words. She seemed fine to me and was in and out in less then one hour. When I was finally called I still waited 11/2 hours to be seen. Long story short. Recieved a needle in the shoulder at my request. Then had to wait 20 minutes in the pharmacy. Lady beside says it always takes this long. Such a shame"
