Reviews of Commonwealth Internal Medicine Associates
"This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. For school, I needed a simple blood test to indicate immunity. The doctor (Trzesniowski) ordered the wrong test FOUR times. She ordered a test for infection twice, and a test for previous infection once, and when I told her it was wrong again and reminded her I needed the test for immunity after a vaccine (not immunity after infection), she asked ME what the difference was. I ended up having to get blood taken twice because of all the back and forth, and got no apology. Not only that, but during the visit she got my medical history incorrect (she said my ADHD meds might be causing my issue, but I don't have ADHD or take meds for it). She also assumed I lived with my parents, and when I told her I lived with my husband, she told me I was too young to be married (I'm 27). She was rude, spoke over me and cut me off, didn't ask any questions, and wrote off my presenting problem as stress without any further exploration or suggestions. I could not believe I had had a better experience at PatientFirst. Thankfully the woman at the lab next door was incredibly nice, apologetic, and made sure I got what I needed. This was my first and will be my last time with this doctor."
"I have been seeing Sarah for 6 years now and have never had any issues. Sarah is caring and compassionate and takes time to listen. I highly recommend her."
"I have been a patient here for 18 years. They CARE! Sarah is the Best! I'm so grateful to have the pleasure of being a patient here and God Bless them all!!"
"Extraordinarily poor scheduling and communication processes, made infinitely worse be rude staff. This is only the second 1-star review I've ever left on a business. Here's why: I had waited 3 months for a new patient appointment to see Sarah Meyers on a glowing review of her as a medical provider and was genuinely looking forward to meeting her and starting a new relationship to work together on my long-term health. Since I had not received any information after booking I called the morning of my appointment and was told I'd get a link to my virtual visit 15 minutes prior. I called back at 10 minutes before my appointment because I still hadn't seen anything. I was on the phone for 44 minutes in that conversation, providing basic insurance and contact information that I had given multiple times before, and when I said "I'm pretty sure I've already given this information" (thinking that maybe they were looking at the wrong record), the response was "I wouldn't ask you if I had it." There were also comments about how the initial call center they use just doesn't know what's correct (which is a problematic statement from at least two perspectives). At 50 minutes past my appointment time they finally sent an email with the telehealth link (a link for my session that was starting was also sent by text message that I received at 8:05 PM that night). Unfortunately, I kept getting an error after clicking through the first part of the sign-in. The link to the help articles weren't relevant. Eventually I was able to connect from another device. My mistake was waiting and just assuming it was taking a while for the provider to connect. I eventually called the office and they said I had to reschedule, and the first availability was 4+ months away. As I was explaining that I had been waiting, my wife is a patient of Ms. Meyers, and I'd like to not have to have waited 7+ months in total to start addressing my health with her, I was met with the same abruptness and rudeness as before. I'm incredibly disappointed that I don't have the opportunity to work with Ms. Meyers on my health, as I've had some wonderful relationships with medical providers prior to moving to Richmond. I absolutely would not work with CIMA at the risk of unnecessarily delaying your health care and adding needlessly stress and frustration to your life. I hope CIMA is able to correct their office practices and behavior."
"This place is HORRIBLE. The staff doesn’t not care AT ALL to get you in, even though I’m a patient here. I requested an online visit last night bc I am sick and the receptionist wrote back ‘Sarah doesn’t work on Thursdays’ and offered NO resolution. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. She never offered for me to see ANY other doctor or even apologized. Sarah Meyers in a wonderful doctor and goes above and beyond but the entire staff here has always been rude and cold and won’t even look you in the eyes. It’s quite pathetic in a health care system. I will be finding another practice who actually cares about their patients. Do better."
