Reviews
"Dr. Toomey is disrespectful not only to patients but other doctors in his practice, disparaging them. Wastes patients time, accused patients of wasting him time and refuses to treat patients unless they listen to his entire list of qualifications."
"Dr. Mark Dollard performed surgery on my foot in 2021. After appearing helpful and caring initially, Dr. Dollard became increasingly belittling, dismissive, argumentative and outright mean as it became apparent the surgery not only did not go as expected, but that careless decisions he made regarding my recovery produced avoidable and, so far, irreparable damage to the surgical area as well as other parts of my body, including my ankle, nonsurgical parts of the top of my foot, knee, and hip. I would love to tell you his behavior was somehow a reaction to my own, however, in spite of all this I have only ever been very nice and appreciative to Dr. Dollard and his office staff and have only ever reached out sparingly, non-critically, and with hope of finding a path to a full recovery. Just now I called to leave a voicemail regarding a mistake on my bill and Dr. Dollard answered the phone saying, "oh here's a patient from many years ago who thinks she can call me anytime," and then hung up the phone on me. That was the last straw prompting me to share my experience online. I have only spoken to him once or twice in the past year; I have in no way harassed him. Furthermore, my review is far from simply my own personal opinion. I have seen a number of specialists since my surgery, including five different physical therapists, one foot & ankle surgeon, one knee specialist, and one other podiatrist DPM; all have expressed how my current conditions were avoidable especially with proper post-op care. In trying to treat these issues, I have incurred nearly $15,000 and counting of out-of-pocket, *additional* and avoidable medical expenses in just 1.5 years after the post-surgical period. Despite that, his unprofessional attitude toward me is my biggest complaint. I am sure Dr. Dollard's behavior is at least in-part due to his knowledge that in my case, he did more harm than good and lacks either the knowledge or the emotional matuirty to work toward a good solution for his patient. Unfortunately, understanding his behavior does not excuse it. I will remain hopeful that one day I will be able to walk (or maybe one day even play tennis) without foot, ankle, knee, and hip pain and put all this behind me."
"Dr. Dollard's office was convenient to my office after I broke my foot while playing basketball. He took the time to fully explain every step of the process while he was doing it, always adding straightforward, no-nonsense recommendations to make recovery easier, and even followed up with me six months AFTER my last visit. His support staff was always helpful and took care of the insurance paperwork. I'm still not any better at basketball, but I'd happily recommend Dr Dollard and his team."
