"Horribly inefficient practice staff in Fairfax Center. Go elsewhere! My Experience Simple Followup after MRI Dr. Requested I schedule a “Virtual” consultation to discuss results Used MyChart as directed - No Response Tried Calling Office schedule over multiple dats. On hold 20 min to reach reception….then another 20 min hold to go to Dr. Scheduling person voicemail. No Response to Voice mail. Asked to be transferred to Office Manager…. On Hold Again 20 Min Same experience each time I tried to call Office. Stopped trying and now going elsewhere for service. Would highly recommend going elsewhere."
"The negative reviews of this practice are warranted. Never have I experienced a medical practice with poorer communication than this one. I did an initial surgical consult with Dr. Moynihan. He told me the scheduler would call me in the next two to fiver business days to get that surgery scheduled. I wait. Nothing. I call. “The scheduler will reach back out to you tomorrow.” Nothing. 5 calls later. Nothing. I get a message in the patient portal. “The scheduler is going to reach out to you soon.” Today I get a voicemail that says: “we have an opening in two days it’s yours.” I have two kids and a full time job that requires me to be in the office. To expect a patient to do a surgery at two days is ridiculous. So I called the office back, and I had a very simple question: “when can I schedule this surgery. Date and time please.” The scheduler could not give me that answer and said she would have someone call me back tomorrow. I said “nope.” At that point, I told her that I’m not playing this game again and told them I’m going to find someone else to do it. Believe the reviews you read here. This is a dumpster fire practice that isn’t worth doing when a consult with."
"I had a medical procedure scheduled here which INOVA team rescheduled last minute. I arrived for the procedure on rescheduled day only to find out that the doctor who was supposed to perform a procedure was not in. No one could answer what happened. On top of that, they told me as I was checking in for the procedure, that I needed a referral for the procedure. I told them my insurance does not require it but they insisted it just changed. Finally they let me do the procedure but asked me to send them a referral by the end of the day. When I called my insurance they told me nothing has changed in the coverage and I don't need a referral. When I called INOVA customer services and billing, they transferred me to 5 different people and had me on hold for an hour. No help whatsoever. When I called my primary doctor they told me Inova urology should have told me about the referral prior to scheduling a procedure if that was the case. I want to note that the doctor who stepped in and performed the procedure- Doctor Wilson was great. She deserves 5 stars but you are in for an awful experience before you make it to the doctor :("
"DONT GO HERE! Front desk usually too curt and almost rude, assuming things with out asking, seem that they want to get you away from them as soon as possible. Only when I tell them that Doctor Holt asked this or said that, would they stop to listen and consider what I was saying. I will not recommend this practice because of your front staff and nurses. THEN: Very disappointed to make an appointment 6 months away, then wait with my condition for 6 months, only to be told that the Doctor does not see patients with this condition. Why doesnt the receptionists know what the Doctors will treat and not treat, instead of wasting patients time that could be used for treatment and recovery. Unbelievable! The Dr may be good but what are you willing to put up with to get treatment?"
"I had a great experience. I was able to get s new patient appointment in under a weeks time. When every other couldn't get me for at least a month or two The doctor was great! She was caring, kind, and comforting. She took time to listen and explain treatment, symptoms and etc... All the staff was wonderful p it í⁹9⁹o ofand helpful. The front office staff were friendly, polite and informative. I was even brought in a little early. The tech that took vitals and did a questionnaire review was great He answered questions and even showed empathy. My doctor was the best and really made me feel comfortable. Upon checkout it was the same pleasant experience and quick service."
