"I have worked in the mental health field for over 26 years and decided to leave my job to persue something different that offered more money and more flexibility. Well, I did get that which was great but what I also got was a company that was unprofessional, unethical and did not have the best practices of ABA in mind. I met some wonderful, intelligent and dedicated staff but the supervision, support and training was seriously lacking. The moral was low amongst many staff with some discussing going to HR to report serious issues with nepotism (the site director is supervising and favoring her own son). The first time I met the site director I was taken aback that she was talking poorly of other staff which made me really uncomfortable. They also have higher level staff whose children are also getting served. I have recently found an amazing job doing the same work for more money and better benefits. I learned what I didn't want through my experience with TA which helped me get an amazing job!"
