Reviews
"Dr. Iqbal listens better than most pediatricians. He is both our pediatrician and cardiologist to one of my children. He's caring, attentive, and he knows his stuff."
"I have been seeing this Dr for 19 years and he is down right amazing if it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would still be here I would highly recommend him and the co-payments are around 15 dollars at least that’s what it is for me there all super nice"
"After having my sons first echo ordered and done at Princeton hospital this man read and gave his opinion on my sons heart and scheduled another appointment at his office in 6 months .Today was the appointment day at his office. When we get to his office the usual paperwork is filled out and they want you to sign paperwork to charge $350 up front cost before he would see my son saying it was what insurance wouldn’t cover. He is the only pediatric oncologist in the area and he knows this. We called our blue cross insurance and was told all we had was a $25 co payment. The way it was explained is basically if you don’t pay the $350 up front you don’t get seen. Now we’re looking for another oncologist between BECKLEY and Wheeling WV. If you find this review with a up coming appointment I suggest you find another oncologist away from both Bluefield’s and out of Mercer county."
"The doctor, himself, is amazing and was SUPER good with my daughter. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the rest of the staff. We recently found out that my 4 year old daughter has a leak in one of her heart valves. We were supposed to receive a heart monitor for her but it hasn't gotten here yet. I called the office a couple of days ago, just to check and make sure we didn't do something we should have since the monitor hasn't arrived yet. What I assume is the receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and cut me off while I was trying to explain what was going on. She pit me on hold after cutting me off in mid sentence and when she clicks back over she said "She will have to call and see why it hasn't gotten there yet. Okay? Bye!" And hung up. I was so livid that I was about to go down there and cause a scene. I'm already on the verge of a nervous breakdown because I'm so scared about my child's health. The LEAST she could have done was be nice to me. All I wanted was to make sure we weren't the reason why we hadn't received the heart monitor yet. This is my child's HEART. It's extremely important to get that heart monitor as soon as possible. I wasn't rude or upset or anything. I was very polite. I had to pull over on the side of the road and talk myself out of going down there and throwing a fit. I was mad enough to put my hands on someone and jail time was the ONLY thing stopping me from going. A rude and disrespectful staff is enough to make you lose patients. She shouldn't have that job if answering a simple question from a concerned, terrified, devastated mother is too much for her and she has to be ugly about it."
