"I live in the neighborhood, and I have mixed feelings about this business. On a very basic level I appreciate their operation, since they keep their space more orderly and up to date (as of this writing) than Max Market on up the street or McDonough Market down the way. The two major dings on this relative scale for me, however, comes down to a slightly weaker variety of pantry essentials compared to the aforementioned stores, which are still far from being a substitute for a real grocery store (not their fault, but shoppers should be well aware) and the strong concentration of gambling machines on the lofted second story. I haven’t been up there and can’t speak to how “fair,” the games are necessarily, and also can’t blame the operators for doing what they need to to keep the lights on, but I honestly do wish that there was a better use of that space from a community minded standpoint. If not for more groceries or other items, at least a money making scheme like arcade cabinets in addition to the counter Virginia lottery would go a long way in my view as a neighborhood resident (for whatever worth you hold that opinion). TL;DR: It’s an independent corner store. The variety isn’t the absolute best considering it’s a small shop, but if you’re looking for a drink and a snack + are cool with convenience store pricing, you could do way, way worse than Sureway Mart."

The employees are even kind and respectful to my furbaby who is my life. Thank you for being a great addition to the Manchester area!!
