"Dr Bovee is wonderful! She was a huge help to our (very new) family. She took the time to ask my fiance and I how we were doing after the birth of our first child. I wasn't expecting our pediatrician to check in on our well being, just the baby's. She was very kind and supportive when our newborn had lost weight after leaving the hospital. She even shed tears with us. Dr Bovee has proven to be very knowledgeable and I would recommend her and the practice to any one I know."
"I have 4 children and love seeing Dr. Bovee. She gives me options and isn't pushy. She listens to my concerns and doesn't criticize my parenting choices. She's very sweet and calm. My babies love her."
"This doctor has turned our lives upside down. She almost killed my daughter by prescribing medicine that caused her to have an acute liver failure. Her office never returned numerous calls after I called to inform them of her status. I had to take her to the ER to find out that this hospital had no liver specialist to help her and after a night of trying to help her they had to fly her by helicopter to Johns Hopkins where 12 specialist doctors were waiting for her to land and immediately starting working on her. Not only was the Piedmont Pediatrics staff very rude, they never returned my calls when my daughter was in grave condition. Johns Hopkins immediately approved and put her on the liver transplant list which was the only cure at this point. I can't even describe what we went through during this time and I never wish another parent would ever have to experience. Fortunately, within a few days of treatment her liver started to heal. Thank the lord for saving my daughter from dying. Now she is still having some problems with her enzymes being higher than normal but she continues to fight. Now we are officially homeless because of the expenses this has caused us. All she can say at the point is, I'll never do this to another patient which is great, but unfortunately does not help us. She needs to stop practicing so she doesn't harm and kill others."
