"Great shelter with a loft, nice and warm even in November. Plenty of spots to pitch a tent nearby as well. There is also a privy and a nice little spring to get water from. Amazing views too, and Mount Rogers is a short hike away."
"Cold night, we set up our tent in the loft and stayed warm. Beautiful vista just a few steps away; the best sunset I've seen in the AT"
"A crowded shelter, but awesome views, and a short hike to a covered Mt Rogers peak"
