"Daughters hiked the trail to the Channels and Firetower. 7.5 miles up and back they enjoyed it, was strenuous."
"Really cool place!!! The hike was nice, but mostly uphill. The trail was well maintained and clear. Plenty of places to explore in and around the channels."
"This is one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. It's a little bit of a strenuous walk to the top, but so worth it. It's an incredible thing to explore, like another planet."
"This was a great hike and a true wonder to behold. It is all uphill to get to the channels, but the views are amazing. It's a hike that you should definitely take water and snacks with you. Also, obviously, take a camera to capture the memories and views. Of course, the way back to the parking lot was all downhill. Make sure to properly plan because the parking lot only has 10 spaces and no roadside parking is allowed."
"Amazing place for a hike! There are two options to get to the channels, first you can go into the Hidden Vally side for a 10.5 mile hike or make it easier by starting on hayters gap side which is only 3.5 miles. The hikes are mostly uphill but once at the channels you will be amazed. The sight is breathtaking, after viewing everything from atop the huge rocks, you can follow the trail that leads to many “channels” between the rock making it a bit of a labyrinth of sort. We had a great time here, but be very careful and make sure you have plenty of hydration one slip someone could really injure themselves."
