"Well maintained State Forest, lots of picnic areas, has a shooting range, and park service was patrolling. I was happy to see people enjoying the facilities. I do wish their had been more trails marked for walking/hiking, but perhaps I missed them. We are VIPP members, and have visited every state park or forest except 3. This one was very nice"
"Home! I grew up in this park, it's beautiful. They offer multiple camp sites, large group camping w lodging , full kitchen and a dining hall - event hall. I got married at the grate hall in front of the fire place and it was special. Once summer hits the pool opens and multiple easy access playground parks with tables and grills are available. The hiking trails are so cool as well. Difficult levels vary. The water is usually stocked with some awsome fishing as well. Check for stock dates"
