"My 2 year old daughter and I had a horrible experience today. We were waiting for my wife at the DMV, so we decided to check out the church. We recently moved to Winchester and have been looking for a nice church. However, as we were checking out the grounds, some older kids lined up and started yelling "get out of here", "this is private property", "this is illegal". I've never experienced anything like this at any church ever before. The teachers with the kids did nothing. Personally I think if these are the values taught at this church, they should take the name of Christ off their sign. I miss the days when churches were welcoming like Christ was. This one is not."

"The greatest Jesus loving family you can find in Virginia the rest are fake churches where they have 85 different ways to donate and all they care about is telling you how to give them all your money. Never trust charismatic churches stay away from them and only go to churches that tell you the truth and lead you the direct way which is the narrow path to God. "I started going to the church of Christ at mount view. Around 2 to 3 years ago, when I was going through a nasty divorce and I still continue to go there today, one of the best places I have ever been, they speak the truth from the Bible and only the truth if you want a great family atmosphere and truthful worship. Then the church of Christ, mount view is the place for you and the place for you or your family, you will not be disappointed."

"Praise & worship is really main reason I like to attend church. I truly yearn for the Holy Spirit to touch me during this part of the service. Sadly at this church, the people sitting near me chose that time to chatter with each other talking about their kids or who knows what. Its like asking God to come into your house and then ignoring Him. I may give it another chance. Maybe I just sat in the wrong section. But the pastor really should deliver a sermon on that."

"I've attended this congregation for years, and they are loving and biblical. The lessons on Sunday morning are deeper than your average 'feel good' sermon, because they are grounded in scripture. I am involved in the worship team, so my opinion on the music is a little biased... but we strive for more of a contemporary feel with music, while maintaining traditional aspects to help please all audiences. Bottom line, if you are looking for a church family that will be honest with you about what is in the bible, this is the place for you. While we as Christians are "the church", this church facility and group of people are strong believers and love one another."
