The Plunge Snow Tubing Park

"Fun time for us and the kids. Overall a great experience. Only downside was that despite it actually snowing and there being plenty of fresh fallen snow, they were still running the snow makers over the tubing slopes during every session. And when going down the hill at speed, without goggles or a mask, you couldn’t see a thing and all you could do was try to hide your face with your gloves as the snow was just too cold and uncomfortable on the face and eyes. Strongly suggest you bring skiing goggles if you have them in case they are running so the snow machines during your session."

"Good family fun. Lots of attendants around, and very well organized. Unlike other tube parks, for this one, everyone goes down at the same time, and everyone up top waits until the runs are cleared below. The sides of the alleys are high enough that no one will bump into anyone else. There is an attendant coaching each run through via loudspeaker, so everyone always knows when to go. The bottom is sloped uphill and has black brake pads, so no one flies off the mountain :) The run, the ride back up the magic carpet, and wait in line totaled about 15 minutes for me. So, five runs for the session if you do not leave for the restroom. The concessions were not open for our visit."

"Excellent place for snow tubing, skiing, skateboarding. Snow tubing is very fun and is for all ages. It is very safe so riding is not an issue. The ride takes 30-35 seconds down the slopes. Once you are down, the electric moving ramps bring you back along the tubes. No lift tickets required. You get 75 minutes total which gives 5 rides. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend for a day trip or spending the night for other sports. Gets expensive if you are planning on doing more than one sport. The tubing is $44 per person. Location: pass the skiing and snowboarding area. Go down the winding road and park at the place called the LOOKOUT. They will scan your tickets and give a hard copy to hang with your clothing."

"So much fun for just us adults! We had a blast and plan a return trip with my kiddos. Pros: fairly efficient lines, thrilling ride, close to lots of off mountain fun, easy to get tickets online. Cons: I was horrified the staff was letting very young children, much under the height requirement, ride the tubes. While everyone is responsible for their children’s well being I do believe the staff has a responsibility to enforce safety protocols also."
