"Old man working was very rude, needs to get a new line of work. Pretty much kicked me out because my boat had a gas engine on it, even though I had no gas tank. Majority of the lakes I fish are electric only, with no gas tank and keeping motor up is fine on every other lake in the state of Virginia except the Ni reservoir."
"The Ni River Reservoir Park is a very nice park for families. It was clean, neat and well planned. The cost was fair for out of county visitors, but they let you know by their demeanor they really do not care for out of county visitors to the park. But other than that it was a beautiful experience and I would still recommend this park to all families in and around Spotsylvania County. Excellent bank fishing and boat fishing, battery operated only."
"Beautiful place to fish, sight see, or bird watching. Definitely worth the visit. This place does get crowded often now. It's still a beautiful place to go and has a pavilion with seating and there are rest rooms. The hours here depend on sunrise and sunset times so some of the complaints are from people who don't get that. Some people leave their trash (fishing line) on the ground within 10 feet of the fishing line disposals they have set up here. If you do this you should get banned from the reservoir, this is so harmful to wildlife, and Ni Reservoir is home to some wonderful wildlife."
"We had a great time canoeing without a crowd. Parking situation could use improvement but otherwise very easy access to the water and plenty of room to explore."
"Love renting a boat and gear, grabbing a book and watching my husband in his element fishing. This is a quiet, peaceful place and not overly populated so gives you a sense of peace. He caught 8 good size crappie in 30 minutes We bought a season pass for both of us for 16.00 Enjoy your experience"
