Reviews of Advanced Neuromuscular Physiotherapy, LLC
"I am nearly 2 years into my physical therapy journey and have seen several doctors, PTs, and chiropractors. Christine Kiang is the best PT I have come across. She is very knowledgeable about human anatomy, able to explain what she finds wrong in detail, and is an expert at both massage and dry needling for trigger point relief. I have both chronic lower back pain and a weird left shoulder issue that has baffled other PTs. I'm finally making progress on both issues."
"I followed my PT, Kristie Lee, to ANMPT from another agency because she is the best!. The PT location is convenient, very clean with individual offices for personalized 1:1 sessions. Kristie is very knowledgeable, kind, and considerate, and pleasant to work with. Her hands-on approach coupled with an unhurried pace makes for successful PT sessions. After each sessions, she gives me great instructions of exercises to do daily at home. When I have questions Kristie is able to answer them, and always asks how I’m feeling since the last visit and tailors my therapy accordingly. I appreciate the time Kristie takes to explain how certain muscles are connected and what the therapy and exercises are trying to accomplish. I highly recommend Kristie, for anyone needing physical therapy!"
"Marisa Brawerman listens intently and answers all of my questions. She explains what she is doing and why. She wants feedback and cares about her patients. She is very accessible. I consider her a valuable member of my healthcare team. I highly recommend her. I'm attaching her picture with her "friend" and co-instructor."
"Advanced Neuromuscular Physiotherapy is a physical therapy practice in a suite of a multi-story office building in North Bethesda that specializes in a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. You must ring the doorbell and state your name. They validate parking in the parking lot located at the corner of Nicholson Lane and Woodglen Drive. Their practice consists of four physical therapists - Dr. Anna Borrisow, who specializes in chronic pain and various orthopedic and soft tissue dysfunctions; Dr. Marley Lefelar, who specializes in chronic pain and sports related injuries; Dr. Christine Kiang, who specializes in sports, orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions with an emphasis on correcting and improving mechanical faults and movement patterns in individuals with acute and chronic pain conditions; and Dr. Marisa Brawerman, who specializes in differential diagnosis, neuromuscular rehabilitation, patient education, restoring proper biomechanics, and injury prevention. All treatments are typically an hour in length and performed in a private room. Before getting treatment from a physical therapist, you must go through a comprehensive evaluation, which consists of analyzing, identifying, and treating the issue. The physical therapist creates a treatment plan that consists of a combination of manual therapy and exercises (which are viewable on a computer, smartphone, or tablet). Before getting treatment, you must change into a gown. They aim to provide quality care for their patients, and over time, improve their quality of life."
