"Bae lacks the scholarly ability to make safe medication prescriptions and treatment plans for patients with concurrent medical conditions. Bae’s unwillingness to listen to a patient’s chief complaint and weigh the benefits and risks of various options almost led to an extremely dangerous complication that would have caused me significant pain and worsening of a life changing medical issue I have that triggered my need to seek psychiatric care. During my visit, Bae failed to listen to the severe medical problem I have and insisted on a medication that clearly states in the side effects can worsen the problem I have. Trusting him, I did fill the rx, only to be told by the pharmacy it can cause worsening of the painful medical condition I have. I consulted with the surgeon monitoring my other medical condition. The surgeon was horrified Bae prescribed this medication, as several scientific studies clearly document serious complications with my medical condition. The surgeon asked why Bae would not prescribe a different medication that research has documented poses little to no risk for complications for the medical condition, but is still effective. I was unable to answer this, Bae was rigid in his stance on the medication he would only prescribe. My visit with Bae was extremely uncomfortable. He is not a good listener, his exam was disorganized, and he failed to conduct the neurological part correctly. (I see neurologists all the time and have had a neuro exam more times than I can count, Bae did not conduct his in anyway comparable to others.) His office floor was soaking wet from a water feature sitting next to the patient seat, which soaked my feet. Bae’s comments were so off from the situation I described, it was evident he was not listening and already settled on his rx, even when I asked questions about the safety of the rx. Both Bae and one of the office staff made comments about my disability that were rude, ableistic, and inappropriate. This was unacceptable, and I encourage anyone with a disability and a real mental health concern seek treatment from a different provider, at least one who reads the rx insert to determine if the side effects can make a concurrent medical condition worse."

"The doctor was entirely focused on medications, which yes medications are important, but didn't even ask or inquire as to the issues at hand. The doctor didn't make me feel welc9med or comfortable. Also, as a new patient I called to check insurance participation befire making the appoin6. Upon arrival I gave my insurance card to to receptionist/front desk representative which she copied. After the appointment she tell my my portion was $250 something (a new plan my deductible wasn't me yet, fine) I told her the card I wanted to use ii didn't have it with me. The next day she called and left a voicemail telling gme the was $150 something. Ok, I don't have an issue with the cost either way, but why one day this and the next day a lesser amount. I called and inquired, as to the change she had told me the rate of $250 was for self-pay thr $150 something was with insurance. ??? Well, why did you even quote me the self pay rate when you took my insurance information and new I had insurance? No answer I asked if she was the one at the desk when I checked in. She said she doesn't remember me. I said/asked were you the one that was there Thursday at 12:30? She said Yes Well sorry I I have to move on something so simple with my paperwork and it can't be right from the beginning"
