"I'm afraid this place is not monitoring their employees close enough. I've heard many, various, and upsetting complaints about the "care". Some staff do a great job, but a large majority of them need to work with non-living "things" since they treat patients so poorly. I hope the administrator sees and hears what's going on so less people get hurt."

"Worst place ever!!!! I came in everyday, three times a day because I was so worried for my moms safety. I came in one day to find blood on her sheets and went to find her at the nurses station. I asked why there is blood on my moms sheets and the her nurse said she had fell and had a skin tear on her arm when I looked I noticed her wrist was broken so badly it was deformed looking. They never apologized, no phone call that she fell, not one word from them. They could care less. If you care at all how your loved ones are treated this facility is not for them. I finally got her in middlesboro nursing home, which is the best by far. I plan on having these to old nurses in particular that treated my mom so horribly, to be held accountable for what they did by the state of Tn. I wouldn’t even give them one star but I did to make this public."

"My mother was sent here after she had pneumonia and was in ARH for over 3 weeks. My mother was a fall risk so they sent her to Tristate for therapy and in 2 weeks she isn’t any better really and Tenncare said she has to go home. I’m really worried about her coming home and falling again. And if she does what am I to do. Thanks"

"Tri-State and their employes are wonderful! My aunt and uncle asked to go there, as they had been treated with such love and care by the staff during short- term stays. The guardian angel program is amazing and keeps family members informed weekly, as we do not live close enough to visit on a regular basis. I highly recommend this nursing home!"
