Colleen Whiteford

Colleen Whiteford is a renowned physiotherapist institution located at 2035 East Market Street in Harrisonburg, Virginia, United States. Colleen Whiteford graduated from Saint Louis University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University in 2011. She is a board-certified orthopedic specialist and has been practicing as a clinician and owner at Appalachian Physical Therapy since 1986. Colleen is also certified in dry needling and Fascial Manipulation-Stecco® (FM), and has completed over 500 hours of formal training in FM. She was the first physical therapist in the United States to be certified in this approach and is now also an instructor in the Fascial Manipulation-Stecco® method. Colleen's practice focuses on a wide variety of diagnoses, including women's and men's pelvic health. She is passionate about promoting these concepts and has taught and presented in multiple settings advocating a total-body approach emphasizing prevention. Colleen and her husband currently own four clinics in Virginia and North Carolina.
