"I started to work on my balance and to get exercising again. Chuck is a great personal trainer. He will modify an exercise to what I can do. He does challenge me. He changes the routine so it not repetitive. It was Chuck’s suggestion to have a physical therapist evaluate me. Colin Gelhardt was my physical therapist. It was decided to retrain my leg muscles to activate when they were needed, and not have other muscles compensate. With a lot of help of the physical therapist, Andrea , Stephanie I have gotten the correct muscles to work when they’re supposed to. I still do low impact classes with Chuck two days a week. We have a great office manager, Stephanie Patterson, who looks out for what the members can do, also ways to improve how things are done."
"I was told about Full Distance Physical Therapy by fellow teacher Chad Dawson when he saw me limping down the school hallway. I was in constant pain, had been to two orthopedic surgeons, and was told I needed a hip replacement. Stephanie, my physical therapist, asked me to give her several weeks of rehab before making a decision to have surgery. Immediately I began to feel less pain. After receiving about three months of therapy I became, and have remained, pain free. I have a follow up appointment with my doctor soon and because of Full Distance, intend to tell her I no longer need her services. I am grateful to Dr. Alina Dawson, owner of Full Distance, for imparting her unique philosophy to the practice and to Sidney for accommodating my schedule. I am especially thankful to Stephanie for working minor miracles every week and putting me on the road to recovery. Obviously, I highly recommend Full Distance for your physical therapy needs!"
