"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Goldstein. She is compassionate, great at explaining things and putting the patient at ease, and an overall amazing OBGYN. I was very worried about my son bc he had a double nuchal cord and was convinced that a c section might be better. She explained to me that a c section is very aggressive and this point. We induced the next night ( she let me go home and recenter myself instead of starting right away). I delivered my second with her and it was 100 times easier than my first. The entire experience was so relaxed and calm. I was up and walking around as soon as the epidural wore off. And I really only needed ibuprofen for the first 3 days. I would recommend her in a heartbeat."

"I LOVE this place. I LOVE the doctors (Dr. Goldstein especially) & I LOVE the office staff. EVERYONE there is amazing. I found their office through my insurance company at the time (I had just found out I was pregnant), & I am SO thankful that I did. Dr. Goldstein took the time to listen to my concerns (my first child was a horrendous experience with 4th degree tearing & a lot of recovery time...different doctor, I lived in Michigan at the time). I was dead set on an elective c-section at the time because there was no way I could go through all of that again...& she was able to talk me out of it (which most doctors won't do because they want to hurry up & get the babies out & keep it moving). I ended up having to be induced due to my gestational diabetes issues, but the delivery was smooth sailing. She really worked with me & helped to formulate a game plan with me to do everything she could to avoid ripping like that again...& I only had 2 little stitches & was walking again as soon as the epidural wore off. My delivery with her was back in April of 2013, but as I am with child again (my third & FINAL) & am living in another new state, & trying to find another OBGYN....it inspired me to write about my experience there...because I wish more than anything I could be back in VA to deliver this baby. Dr. Goldstein is like my child birthing security blanket, I know I'm safe with her. I hope if she ever reads this, she knows that she sets the bar for healthcare & what she does is absolutely life changing. Also, I delivered at Sentara Princess Anne & I can't say enough good things about their hospital & staff either. I have never in my life felt so comfortable & taken care of & they are all really just a great group of people. Even my nervous wreck of a husband was perfectly comfortable with the entire experience & was raving about the staff & of course my doctor. So, if you're going through & looking up reviews on OBGYN's in the area, look no further. You've found the Holy Grail "
