"Never saw the doc--rather a review of the scheduling procedures. Impossible to get an appointment. Made a January appt--in Sept because this practice was so hughly recommended. A month before, in Dec they tell me the schedule has changed, and they need to move it out to March. No thanks. Good thing I started seeing a different OBGYN in the area, when needed in the meantime, one that keeps their appointments and is awesome. I told Riverside to cancel entirely. I'll continue to go somewhere that's not going to double-book time sensitive care or book over existing appointments."

"Dr. Maddela delivered my son 8 years ago and I still think about that experience today. I know that many Black women and women of color don't have good experiences with doctors and medical care. When I first went into labor, I had a doctor who told me my only option was a C-section and I didn't want that. Hours later Dr. Maddela walked in and she listened to me, respected my requests and made me heard. She showed concern and care when there was fetal distress, she encouraged me through the labor process, and I was able to give birth on my own terms. Again, I know a lot of Black women are not as fortunate to have a positive birthing experience so I think choosing the right provider is essential. If you can, ask for Dr. Maddela."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. My birth control made me gain 50+ pounds that I knew should never have been there as well as contributed to multiple other health problems. I went to her because she WAS my gynecologist and I thought she would help me. Instead, she mentally and emotionally abused me and refused to switch my birth control even though I requested to switch. This "doctor" said that I was "doing too much cardio" and that was why I was gaining weight. 45 minutes to an hour of cardio 4-5 times a week is no where near "too much". She then proceeded to tell me that I "should probably stop drinking" my 1-2 glasses of wine A MONTH because that was causing the weight gain as well. She also falsified information in my medical charts and lied about what was said and what I had come into the office for. I knew she was wrong so I went elsewhere to find help. Turns out I have an actual medically diagnosed problem and the birth control she had me on, was making it worse. A year later, I am 40 pounds and counting down and healthier than ever. I will never see this rude and abusive person again and I suggest you do the same."

"She acts sweet on the surface, but she really doesn’t care about you as a person or have any compassion/bedside manner. She’s the the type to perform a major surgery just to go home faster. C-sections are supposed to be life-saving...not time saving!!! Do NOT let this lady give you a c-section unless it’s medically necessary. Get an opinion from a second doctor if you can. This is the review that I wish I saw before getting my c-section. Hopefully it helps someone else."

"Diane Maddela physically and mentally assaulted me by performing a c-section on me against my will without my permission. Do not use her or this practice if you believe in human rights. If she had any integrity she would switch out of obstetrics or practicing osteopathic medicine at all. She has had 2 c-sections herself and does not support patient autonomy. She is not trained in ECV & counseled a c-section for breech rather than inform us of any choices. She told me to speak to my husband rather than schedule the ECV. After a successful version, she came in and said "I think we should do a c-section" then walked out. I never agreed. You are all warned."
