Walmart Pharmacy

"Very rude staff !!! I called to ask if they had cold medicine in stock because all the other pharmacies were out and they would not tell me over the phone ! Said I had to drive 30 min and show ID before they would even tell me if it was in stock ! Horrible customer service !"

"I have had nothing but issues with this Pharmacy from rude employees to excuse after excuse as to why my prescriptions aren’t filled their normal go to is we haven’t received it even though my physician sends me a pdf of the prescription that is sent as soon as she sends it…definitely looking for a new pharmacy"

"While the woman at the front desk was very sweet, I needed to get my prescription transferred and was assured it would take only a few min. I waited at the receiving pharmacy for over an hour and nothing came through. I called back to Walmart to verify they sent it and they said the fax was "still sending" but could offer no guarantee of when or if it would arrive. 90 min after they said they sent the fax, the receiving pharmacy called them to get the prescription and filled it in 10 min. Such a pain just to get something filled."

"I went in to Walmart pharmacy in Timberville Va yesterday at 3pm had script sent in electronically from Sentara for my 92 yr old mom. I walked up to counter, there were 8 pharmacy people mulling around laughing ,talking, I stood there for a good 5 min, each of them looked at me and continued wat they were doing, eventually the pharmacist said “someone at front”, each of them looked at the other but no one paid any attention to pharmacist. Approximately 2-3 min later (that’s long time wen standing there) a girl came over and said they just received it and wud fill in 10-15 min. I ask about another script for her older one (refill) she said I needed to see guy on end. I did so. He looked up script said he wud set it up. I came back 20 min, she rings up I said only $4 for 2 scripts. She said no just one. ? I said wat about new one She said he only did old one,they said sorry b another 15 min. I came back,waited in line several min gave her a signed check from mom, she said sorry need her ID . Starting to get exasperated went to car in parking lot got ID from mom, came back in stood in line several min gave ID, she then says sorry need your mom to come in, at that point I lost it demanded my scripts back went to Medicap on Rt 42 told them it was important they filled,accepted moms ck and ID and was back home in a jiffy. Walmart pharmacy did not even care wen I left, they all just rolled their eyes at me. Spent well over an hr there and got nothing. They are the laziest non caring bunch I ever saw. Will never go there again for any reason. Medicap was fast,efficient and very caring."

"Prescription was sent in from drs office after 1pm called around 4pm to check status to be told that they were busy but it was received. Arrived at pharmacy around 6pm to be told it would be 30 minutes for it to be ready to it’s almost done. Waited 30 minutes only to get told it could be 30 minutes but in reality they have no clue. That’s when the cashier and pharmacy tech decided to get an attitude when asked which is it 30 minutes more or you have no clue. Pharmacy tech was rude and wanted to scream and argue with me trying to justify why they are so far behind. Everyone in line after me was there to pick up prescriptions only to be told the same line of 30 minutes to an hour. I asked for my prescription to be sent to another pharmacy only to be told I would have to request it. Shouldn’t take 5 hours for a prescription to be filled when you have 3-4 people there filling prescriptions. Maybe if they stayed off of their phones they could get work done. I will say after tech decided to show her a$$ the pharmacist stepped in to get my prescription filled with in 10 minutes and apologized for her actions but it doesn’t excuse the fact on how she acted."
