"Dr. Sadek is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to give her patients the best care possible. She recently performed laparoscopic surgery on me, and she personally called me on a couple of different occasions to check on me. I would recommend her to anyone!"
"I saw Dr. Sadek back in November and wasn't super impressed. She lacks bedside manner and personality, but the Pap was not at all painful as it usually is for me. That deserves recognition!"
"Dr Sadek was great! Super personable but also knowledgeable. Everything was timely, the office staff was nice and professional. I would highly recommend her and her team!"
"I LOVE Dr. Sadek, she’s absolutely wonderful. Straight forward, always on time, gets the job done and is passionate about what she does! She also usually has a student with her, which I think is wonderful, something I did not experience with my other two pregnancies, she is always teaching and learning and willing to contribute to her profession. Appreciate her and her team during my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery!"
"I visited Dr. Sadek in 2018 for an annual checkup, then moved out of state due to family illness until this year, when I returned to the Roanoke area. I understand from prior experience that Dr. Sadek has a no-nonsense sort of personality, so the fact that she is pretty short when speaking didn't really bother me. What did bother me was trying to discuss recently acquired hormonal issues/perimenopausal symptoms and being shut down with a "Well, you're aging, this is what happens." I then mentioned that migraines due to my cycle I have been having since I was a teen were increasing in frequency and severity, asking what her thoughts were, if I should start looking into medication - I was told that had nothing to do with gynecology so I needed to bring it up to my PCP. Ok. I think the actual visit was perhaps 10 minutes and I was efficiently shuffled out. At checkout I asked if I could go ahead and schedule my next annual - no scheduling of appointments out that far anymore. As I had to wait a few months just to get on the schedule for this appointment, I felt frustrated and definitely not valued. I don't need to be coddled by any means, but I felt rushed, like Dr. Sadek was not interested in listening/ giving options, and like I was an inconvenience. I know the pandemic put a huge strain on an already stretched thin workforce, and I have immense respect for all healthcare professionals. But this visit/experience made me feel angry and defeated. I won't be back."
