"I recently moved to VA. During my first annual with Dr. DiPaolo, she scheduled me for some imaging to make sure everything was ok. I thought she was likely being too cautious, but I didn't want to take any chances. Turns out she was correct and all was not well. She explained everything thoroughly, was patient, and gave me what I believe was excellent and comprehensive medical attention. I ended up having to have minor surgery, and she did a fabulous job with that as well. I have found her staff to be friendly, professional and very responsive. Dr. DiPaolo is very busy, but she also gave me personalized service - even calling me to talk about test results. I believe she truly cares about each of her patients. I don't think I could have ended up in better hands, and I'm so glad I did. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. DiPaolo."

"This doctor has the worst bedside manner. When a test was taking longer than expected, I asked about the estimated additional wait time. She responded by saying “we would like to have you out of here too since you’re taking up this room that another patient could use.” I’ve never been spoken too this way by a doctor - just plain rude and insensitive."

"She does not take patients seriously. She was on her phone talking with other dr about other admission while with me in room trying to do the findings and assessment. She is very disrespectful and just pathetic her care and bedside manner is so unprofessional I end up asking to leave room and not be my provider while in hospital stay. She wanted to send me home with big cyst and follow up with my primary ObGYN when back from break on august 16"

"Go anywhere else. Dr Sanda DiPaolo almost killed me. I had an ectopic pregnancy which was misdiagnosed as a miscarriage. She didn’t have time and had her father give me a D&C. A week later I was in excruciating pain and raced to her office. She accused me of not being in a lot of pain and scheduled a surgery 5 days later to remove a cyst. If she had read the D&C report she would have realized that there was no fetal matter found in my D&C. That’s the thing she missed that almost killed me. Surgery day finally came, I begged her to push up my surgery because I was in so much pain. She told me that I could take my chances and go to the ER, but she recommended I not do that. Turned out I had an ectopic pregnancy and my tube burst. There was so much internal bleeding from 5 days of bleeding while waiting for surgery that it took a very very long time in surgery. I later reviewed her medical records for me and she falsified them and wrote that I told her that I had the miscarriage expulsion at home after the D&C. I never ever said that. Then she pushed me out of the hospital, it’s protocol to spend the night after an ectopic pregnancy and tube bursting. I assume she pushed me out so fewer people saw her major blunder. It took forever for me to recover. I was in so much pain. I’ve since had a C-section and it was less pain than her laparoscopic surgery. Trust anyone else, don’t go to her."
