"Hired Molly Maid for a move out cleaning. They did a really thorough job. I would definitely recommend their service to anyone looking for this type of cleaning service."
"I am so grateful I finally called and made my appointment! My house is so clean and happy looking, I needed this more than I realized. Highly recommend!"
"Took advantage of my elderly parents and the house was left covered in dust, filthy baseboards...does not appear they did anything but the floors (didn't even vacuum 2 rooms) and toilets. Not worth the money at all! They complained to them they were tired from cleaning earlier that day. Unacceptable."
"My wife wrote this review since she handled the scheduling and communication with this company. The picture with the dust pan is after sweeping a 10’ x 9’ area in the living room shortly after moving in after the cleaning. “My husband & I got our new home cleaned last week as a “move in” clean and we’re unfortunately very disappointed with the cleaning. We're not ones to typically complain or be critical of a service, but our experience with this Molly Maids was not ideal. When I arrived at the house on Thursday to meet the cleaners after they were done, I did a quick walk through of the house and it did seem cleaner than before. We came back late the next day to begin setting up to move over the weekend and noticed several areas that were done poorly or not at all. Specifically, when I wiped my hand on the counter tops in the kitchen, dust/crumbs came up. There was also a pile of debris that was swept into a corner of a room. Over the course of the evening/next morning, we continued to notice other areas that were not cleaned; The outside of the stairs had a layer of dust, the upstairs shower floor (I was told they could not get the residue to come off but I was able to easily), sink faucet and drains were not cleaned, cobwebs in the corners of the dining room, etc. A friend who previously worked at another location as a lead trainer recommended Molly Maids. They came over to help us move over the weekend and also noticed several areas that had not been cleaned/done properly as part of a move in cleaning (prior to me mentioning my dissatisfaction). In addition, she expressed that typically for the size of the house (3Bed/2.5Bath) the two person team was not there long enough to do an adequate job. Of course this was a different location than where they worked, but it made it even more apparent that several things we're not done. I followed up at the start of the week to discuss some sort of at least partial refund for the cleaning. I was told they could only offer to send out a team to re-clean the house and that a partial refund was out of their policy. Because we had already moved all of our things into the house and in the process ended up having to clean up what was not done, it wouldn't have made a difference so we declined. My experience interacting with the office before and after the cleaning was positive, however I think more could have been done regarding this situation and it in turn reflects poorly. While we do not get cleanings done regularly, this experience makes us hesitant to schedule a cleaning with or recommend this service in the future.”"
"We had the same team for about 10 years with Molly Maids, which I loved. We knew them both and used them for extra tasks on a regular basis. We trusted them and did not decrease service throughout the pandemic. However, within a couple of months this spring, both people left and service has significantly deteriorated. I get that maybe Molly Maids is short staffed because the arrival time became unbelievably erratic. But the office people are not the same, so I wonder if the franchisee changed. The straw that broke the camel's back for me and has caused me to fire them this morning was the statement that "we can't clean your house today; it's too hot in here." The temperature throughout the house was 76. With energy costs being what they are, we can't afford to turn the thermostat down to 70 all day for their unreliable arrival."
