"I was very satisfied with the quality of work of Cougot's Chimney Service. Their staff are friendly and very professional. They inspected, cleaned as well as provided additional preventative maintenance to our chimney. We were having smoke fill the house and they came back and helped us troubleshoot and correct the problem. Safety was a major concern of ours since we have young children and they put those concerns at ease."

"Cougat’s removed and hauled away an old wood stove as well as cleaned and inspected our chimney for a very reasonable price. The team was prompt, courteous and extremely clean in what otherwise appears to be fairly dirty work. They gave us an estimate for the chimney repairs and explained exactly what they found with pictures. We will be using them again for the recommended repairs."

"We had cheduled cleaning for our fireplace after numerous positive feedback on nextdoor. Once the worker arrived, he said that it would save us money if we reseal the old cement before doing the cleaning. He told us that we need an estimate for that. My husband asked if we owed anything for him to come out even though no cleaning was performed. He said that it would be $200 for inspection. I never asked for my fireplace to be inspected and I was never warned of the cost beforehand. We got an estimate of 8k to reseal and paid $200. I feel this is fraud since no one informed me before hand of the cost or the procedure. Please beware of this unprofessional conduct. I will go back to nextdoor and share my bad experience. Doing anything without permission and disclosing a fee upfront is just not how honest people do business."
