"The Lofts at Shockoe Slip seem amazing during the walk through. My apartment is cute, I love the all inclusive rent, but there's one thing that makes this apartment miserable: the noise. The apartments are right above Cha Cha's Cantina. Tuesday-Saturday nights are filled with loud shaking bass and vibrations until 2 in the morning. I can feel/hear it lying in bed, over my tv, with 3 different fans on, on the top floor. You know that feeling you get through your body when a car drives by you with the bass on all the way and the music turned up loud? How your whole body feels the beat? Imagine that trying to go to sleep. All. Night. Long. My cups and plates rattle in the cabinets. This is not the apartment you want to live in if you work a 9-5 and want to go to sleep at a reasonable hour. This is downright MISERABLE. If I could go back in time and NOT sign this lease, I would."
