Reviews of Atrium Lofts at Cold Storage
"I've only lived here for about three weeks, but so far, it's been excellent. I love my apartment, I love the location, and I love the value (low rent and many inclusions). I'll update this review if my experience changes, but I've read the other less stellar reviews and so far, I have not experienced the issues they did. Many thanks to Taylor and Cristal for showing me so many units."
"I do not recommend this complex—especially if you are a young woman living alone. I moved in back in June 2023 thinking it would be a great location since it’s conveniently located right next to downtown, but location was not worth it. Some of the issues I had in the 6 months I lived there: -package room break ins constantly: there were two major package room breakins within the time I was there. Both times I walked in and the room was in complete disarray—with all my packages gone. I lost about $200 worth of stuff and all the front office told me was to file a police report and were not helpful at all. -latch door system very untrustworthy: you can only access the gates, building, and your unit through the Latch app, or the code they give you. I was at work and came home after being gone for 10 hours, and my unit Latch lock had completely malfunctioned and my door had been open all day to the public for anyone to enter. -guest/public parking: I was told upon move in that guests could park in the parking garage above the leasing office, but was not told about the guest pass you need to park there. My guest who parked in this designated spot was then towed since we didn’t have said pass—the towing fee was $400, and the leasing office refused to help cover the cost besides offer a $100 visa gift card. -parking lots not protected and cars being broken into. It is not well lit and can be scary to walk alone back into the complex. To sum this up, because of these issues, I had to do an early termination at 6 months instead of carrying out my 1 year lease. I highly do not recommend living here."
"I used to really love living here but it’s become nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone. I have tried for a week and a half now to get some information about transferring my lease to a bigger apartment because I work from home and would like to have an office space but no one will return my calls or reply to my emails. This really concerns me for how things will go once my lease ends because no one communicates or responds to anything. It’s ridiculous that this is how a professionally run property thinks they should treat long term residents."
"I used to love living here but it really is going downhill. This will be the last time I renew my lease. There are frequent car break ins and glass is always in the parking deck that no one sweeps up. After the break ins there has been no changes, no added cameras or action plan. The changed from a fob to a code not long ago and since the change there have been numerous break ins in the mail room. The leasing office just tell you to file a police report. I tried to reach out to their corporate and have no heard back. On top of this when you go to the leasing office with any kind of concern they are so rude and dismissive which just adds insult to injury. I have lived in this complex for over 5 years and in the past 1.5 years it is steadily getting less secure and more problematic. I would not recommend living here."
"Save your money. I moved across country mid pandemic in a haste at the end of 2020. Initially it was great with the previous staff. You can’t get your packages delivered directly and somehow things are always getting stolen since last staff change. The office is rarely when they’re supposed to be. They hardly ever pick up the phone. Getting a maintenance request fulfilled is almost impossible. I haven’t been able to use my sink in two weeks waiting for a repair. You could pay less getting a house and hiring your own maintenance person."
