"I’ve lived at the Bixby for a little over 2 years, and have been through 3 management teams. The current management team is great - so kind, easy to deal with, and truly want to take care of the building and the tenants. I have had the same maintenance team for a little over 4 years (my last apartment complex shared maintenance and management with the Bixby), and Jason and the maintenance team have been incredible. They have always taken care of any issues quickly and professionally, and I felt like my unit and the building were well taken care of. I’m sad to be leaving (moving back to my home state), but I have truly enjoyed living at the Bixby and think it’s a great place for a reasonable price."

"Hello, I just wanted to stop and say I have had a great experience with The Bixbys leasing agent Latoya! She has been amazing from start to finish with my process of moving in! She is actually still a huge help! Always answers any questions I have, she’s easy to reach, very respectful, and professional! Shoutout to Ms. Latoya for being great at what she does!"

"Avoid renting here, so many better apartments out there. Do not expect any service from the leasing office staff whatsoever. The maintenance team and other staff are excellent and care about the residents but the leasing office could not be worse! They didn’t provide a copy of my lease, when I asked them about it they delayed delivery for over a month. Then when rent was due the leasing office denied the original figure that we talked about. Then after trying to resolve the issue, they still failed to communicate and still owe me money. Some of the leasing staff live in the building and I’ve seen it where they don’t come to help their neighbors when apartments flood, or people get locked out of their apartment. There were other issues, I received multiple packages and certified mail that sat in the package room for weeks without anyone notifying me that any packages had arrived. I reported the leasing office staff to the Office of Tenant Advocate, but save yourself the headache of dealing with these people by renting from one of the many other apartments nearby. Once they replace the leasing office staff it might be worth renting here but there’s no reason to experience leasing office staff that are this unprofessional and dishonest."

"There were pros and cons to living here - pros were the rent is fair, overall staff is nice and it's a pretty good location. However, cons outweigh the pros. I moved out 4 months ago and have yet to receive my security deposit back; communication + logistics didn't make sense - I got locked out of my apartment and had to wait over an hour for someone to let me back in; there is no secure package room and I got a TV stolen and when reported to the staff they didn't offer any additional help even though there are cameras in the hallways; lastly, the amenities are not well kept - in my year of living there I went up to the rooftop once. Definitely tour in person before signing a lease."

"Once again the Bixby has descended into an almost unlivable situation. 1) They replaced our friendly Concierge with an ***Armed*** Guard who does not retrieve packages or welcome visitors but instead roams the hallways rather than sitting at the front door. (See first photo). 2) The package room is now open to any resident with a digital key, and the packages are all accessible (see second photo). This is almost certainly going to result in package theft/mixups. 3) Perhaps worst of all, there is no way to reach management! They are never in the office, their phone is not manned, their emails have been disconnected. I hope management sees this review and realizes they need to reinstate the concierge, remove the armed guard, and keep the package room secure. The floor plans, the rates, and the location are all good; but the management is dreadful! Steer clear! Further edit: not only can I open the Bixby package room via the Carson app, I can also open the Harlow’s package room and front door (their sister building). That means every resident of the Bixby AND Harlow could potentially enter the package room and take any package they want! We signed our lease in large part because of the security of a package concierge and now it’s just a free for all!"
