Reviews of Williamsburg Park Apartments
"I moved out here awhile ago but my experience here was good and bad. When we first moved in it was roaches and the toilets constantly were stopped up. It got so bad to the point where sewer water flooded the apartment absolutely disgusting my clothes were messed up and shoes but the problem was fixed thanks to the staff. The staff were pretty friendly in the rent office but the maintenance people were not."
"Nice place to live quiet neighborhood. Maintenance responds fast. Office staff friendly and helpful. I will miss th high toilets and half bath downstairs. If I needed to rent again in Henrico definitely would reapply here. Convenient location"
"When I first moved here I lived in a one bedroom but moved to a two bedroom, for more space, last summer (2021). Per management, I was unable to view the two bedroom before moving in due to new COVID procedures. Once I was able to move in I found the place dirty and things were stuffed in the 2nd bedroom vent. When I called the leasing office about a home being dirty DURING COVID they said it was cleaned…I sent images of how filthy the place was and they sent someone out a few days later. However the vent was still stuffed with paper and other items. I had to contact the office AGAIN for maintenance to come clean it out. While maintenance was at my location I asked about what looks like mold on the shower ceiling in the upstairs bathroom, but he did nothing about it and I’ve been trying to fix the issue myself because I actually care about my health. At this point I handle everything myself (pest control and any other issues I may have). I was told I was placed on a list for a new patio door, that was literally almost a year ago…still no new door. Only renewed because the location is close to my job."
"We lived here for 3 years and I can honestly say I will miss so much about it. The entire staff worked tirelessly to make this a home for us. Any problems were taken care of quickly. The staff treated my whole family like family. Maintenance always involved my little one in their inspections. They made him an honorary maintenance man which just made him so happy. They even send personalized birthday and holiday cards. Even other than just personal relationship reasons, they really take care of these homes. In the 3 years we were there, they replaced the roof on all of the buildings, replaced our back door to a much nicer one, and completely redid the laundry rooms (new machines and remodel). The only complaint I really had while living here was the parking. I do want to make clear though that my parking area was very different from the rest of the complex so the issues I had are probably not an issue to others. My small parking area didn't have enough spots and being at the end of a dead end meant that I regularly got blocked in by visitors parking in a No Parking Zone to drop off and pick up their children from my neighbors house. The office, however, did all they could to try to keep that from happening but usually it happened when they weren't there or the car was parked there just long enough to make people late. The rest of the parking lots are much more open than mine was so I doubt it happens elsewhere. Also, considering where this complex is it really is so quiet. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. If I'm ever in the market in this area again I would GLADLY move back in and I suggest it any time a friend mentions looking for an apartment."
"Before all the good stuff - My family and I decided to put our three month notice in because they only have laundry units outside (they're expensive and don't work very well) and we've recently had some maintenance issues that we had let the office know about, and weren't met with in a timely manner (a few months had gone by after alerting them of a few mishaps in the house). The main rooms don't have overhead lights, which is a bummer. But all the good stuff during are year was really great. The office staff is really, really sweet and incredible. I can't tell you how many hours I spent just sitting in the office talking to them - Office admin that are that sweet and relate-able are hard to come by. The maintenance men are funny, kind, attentive, and have great stories to tell. One maintenance fella lives in the area and decorates his house for big holidays - it's awesome, make sure you check it out. They don't have backyard fences, but they allowed us to have a chicken wire fence which was really helpful for our dog, and made me feel a little more secure. The townhouses are reasonably sized, the prices aren't bad, and the only utility (at the time we rented) we had to pay was electric. There is a decent amount of storage in the backyard, too. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and I would suggest this housing complex to anyone. This was our first home as a family, and personally my first renting experience - It was great. Thank you Williamsburg office & maintenance!"
