"I used to live here. Years later some apartments still have the old wall-mounted heaters. Years ago maintenance stopped and didn't complete the 7th floor of building 5535. I was recently visiting and seen a few old wall-mounted heaters not completely attached to the wall and black mold inside where the air blows out. The windows need replacing because after it rains the water does not go out like it should and it is building black mold and green fungus on this inside. The wall vent in the kitchen and bathroom have openings on the side because the vent cover was not measured correctly beforehand. I have cleaned for residents that live in this community and I noticed they don't get out much which is due to the black mold. Black mold is deadly and will cause serious health problems. Also I know residents with carpet units that have lived there for 13 plus years and it's been cleaned but they need NEW carpet. The wood underneath is damaged from a fire in 2018. Sitting in a unit with machinery above that vibrates the unit is not normal. Each floor needs cameras due to residents letting the dogs pee and pooping on the floor/carpet. I've seen it happen and they don't pick it up. Some bathroom sinks need upgraded too. I'm a cleaner. I noticed that if residents see a clean enviroment they will keep it clean. I'm saying the cleaning of the property could be a lot better. And not using dirty mops that make it smell and the floors could be cleaner. You can contact me to teach your workers how to clean professionally."

"From beginning of lease to end of lease it was night and day. 1: at the beginning of my lease there were no roaches, at the end of my term there were roaches in the downstairs laundry room and extending all the way up to the 5th floor. 2: when we moved in, some of my tiles were rotten, when we moved out, most of my tiles were rotten, during that time, only 12 tiles we're maintained out of 300 plus tiles in the entire unit 3: my first roommate was white, my second roommate was black, do you think they respected us when the second one was black. They respected our privacy during the first lease but not during the 2nd. 4: the law changed during our stay allowing unreasonable entry, it became 72 hours and not once did they ever request or respect my requests for 72 hours entry, even going so far as to walk in on me in the nude after-hours often times at 6 p.m. 5: I was told Nancy was let go because she continued to trespass with third parties present and they did five different audits of my apartment in one year even though they had already checked the smoke detectors and other mandates several times. They kept taking pictures of my snakes inside the unit and claiming damages about pets even though the original lease manager, Norbis, signed off on them. Nancy went out of her way to edit my lease incorrectly and had 0 awareness of what "double check" means to the point she violated us about a cat and dog we already had sent paperwork for and were ESA status by doctors orders and had been for 7 years. 6: when I began to complain or withhold wothin my rights in the lease, maintenance would stop for months at a time. The dryers downstairs make noise. The elevator broke non-stop. When I moved in they tried to argue with me about there being 0 fire extinguisher on my floor or in my unit for 7 weeks. I shouldn't have to be kind for them to perform my services if I'm paying $1700 a month. 7: They raised rates for some tenants and not others. They raised my rent and utilities both by $130 my 2nd term and failed to give 6 mos notice for Utilities because its a HUD allowance building, ahich means you get your money back as a credit for $131. I was paying $177. Currently rates are back to $130 but they wouldn't honor renegotiations with me for said rate. 8: after this all came to a a head they made every attempt to refuse to speak to me until they came up with 3 very much bogus violations and piled on an eviction notice in the same month my floor began collapsing under my bed and a leak rendered my convectors and fridge inoperable for 3 days which they failed to reimburse me for food. Save your money, this all happened while I was on contract with Arlington County and they had the nerve to try to ask me to NDA paperwork afterwards. Edit: The pets were already provisioned and your reply doesn't do the verbal abuse justice, nor does it excuse that Sabrina threatened me saying she "saw my face" and would violate me on command, and then your staff proceeded to only enter my apartment after ours and fail their maintenance duties. If you guys would like to talk, lets talk, but you're pushing for a lawsuit with these back and forth actions. Nancy Fuentes literally screamed at me to get out several times and I forwarded all photo, email, and video evidence to you all time and time again and she forwarded those emails to Sabrina. I have proof, she mistakenly sent two to me with Sabrina tagged instead of submitting them as requests for management and staff. You guys are out of line. Pet policy doesn't excuse the violence, the assaults by residents, the attacks on my character, or the frequent and FALSE violations about my ESA that was already on the lease which I have physical violation printous for when the Cat + Dog were already on the lease prior to Nancy. Are you stupid or just dumb? You left a paper trail"
"I can’t not recommend this place to anyone. I have been living here for almost one year, only reason I haven’t moved is because the location is very accessible. But will do soon. Regardless of how clean you maintain your unit, there is mouses everywhere. Since I moved here I have never spilled water on the floors, and they are already lifting. The exit on the second floor alway stinks like if we had the trash cans there and I have to exit through that door all the time because the main door of the building does not have a ramp for easy access for strollers. Every time I call the office, they never respond. Neighbors are loud and does not take care of the place at all. The trash room is alway dirty with bags all around. There is so much more but I highly suggest You skip this place."
"The new management company is just as bad as the old one. Back in April I caught 7 mice in one week.( I have photos) I asked them why don’t they have an Exterminator, they said they were getting one soon but yet they was Beautifying the front with a new flowers the new mulch meanwhile the residents inside are living with mice and roaches. They have no respect for anything that you went through living in those horrible conditions. They promise anything to you and don’t follow through. I have been having the same issue going on three weeks now and still no one has answers. I even contacted the corporate office and he promised to resolved the issue and nothing. Costumer service it not important to the management team at all especially if you are a African American. They don’t respect you enough to even call you with updates. This is the worst place in every aspect. I’m sure they will send a generator response saying please contact us. Nope I have already tried that!! Horrible place to have called home. Nothing good about this place at all."
