"Just moved in today. La Shaun was kind, professional and attentive. She helped me throughout the entire process and was a fantastic communicator. She made me feel as though I was being welcomed into a communicator. Ignore the other reviews, management has changed for the better. I believe the gem of this building is the concierge Steve who works the week night shifts. This man is smart, on the ball and best of all, a really nice person. I personally enjoy just hanging out and chatting with him. He is an asset to this building"

"Been at this place for several months now. Really good views, nice/clean facility. Decent gym. Friendly staff. BUT.. for the amount this place charges for rent, you'd think that you wouldn't have BIWEEKLY FIRE ALARMS resulting in the evacuation of hundreds of occupants...!? Like what the heck!! No joke, as I write this review I am listening to the deafening fire alarm sing its beautiful song... Lack of security is an issue as well, people can just come in and out of the facility with no problem. Also, make sure you don't order anything expensive because theres a good chance it might get lost in the plethora of deliveries they receive every day. So its basically an "order at your own risk" kind of situation... Oh, and you'd think paying more than four grand a month for rent will get you a building with elevators that work? The amount of times the entire tower is operating on just one elevator is appalling. The staff/concierge is friendly but management needs to get its stuff together asap. So embarrassing. I will remove this review when/if I see any improvements living here but I'm sad to have had such a poor experience living at an apartment of this "caliber." Stay away unless you have noise cancelling headphones..."

"They stole $250 from me and my husband in the application fee. The leasing agent, ASHLEY, did not share the information in regards of the hidden fees. And when we called she said there was nothing else to do. She knew that we were on time to get out money back because it did not pass the time to get it but instead she said there was nothing else to do and there was no manager or higher rank person to talk to. Save your money and go to other buildings better than this one…"

"I lived at Altaire for a year, and it was the best experience for my first apartment. The pictures don’t do it justice, but there are so many units with a beautiful view of DC and I was lucky to have one. Alma was so kind and a huge help when I first moved in. They were upfront about the fees and any questions/concerns I had. The units are structurally sound. Never had an issue with noise from neighbors or traffic. I was able to work from home in peace. I also loved having a reserved parking spot included in my parking fee. Location, location, location! I loved walking to Whole Foods, the Alamo theater, metro, and mall. Getting on to 395 to head into DC, MD, or further south was a breeze! I wish I could have lived there forever! I had a jr one bedroom and lived alone. It was the perfect apartment for what I needed. My move out process was also seamless. Thank you to the Altaire Team!!"
