"I really don’t understand how anyone gets to tour this property. I scheduled a tour for a Saturday and waited 25 minutes for someone to come before giving up. They have a number that you can text to supposedly get faster responses, so I texted the number on Saturday three times (and also called multiple times) to no answer. Then on Monday morning I get a text from the number saying that they “dropped their phone in the rain on Saturday” and that it’s “just now drying out/turning on.” Conveniently, their phone wasn’t working the day of my tour (which had already been scheduled anyway), or the day after, but magically started working again Monday morning. There were so many other ways they could’ve gotten in contact with me about a tour I scheduled in advance even if that was true. At least take accountability."
"Perfectly good place to live, pretty fair rates especially for the area. Stephen is the property manager and is great, always quick with repairs and friendly. That being said, the place is only good if you can even get through the awful process of working with upper management and getting a lease. When I was applying it took multiple emails / texts / calls. On the day of my tour I followed the steps Erika had provided regarding getting in the building and to the available rooms, upon my arrival she failed to let me in the building on the call box and never notified the property manager of my tour. I am now looking into the possibility of extending my lease but no one has responded to my emails and texts. Seems like the leasing office isn't interested in getting / keeping tenants."
"Living in this building during quarantine has been a nightmare. Hardly, a week goes by without construction. In the first week of lock-down, they allowed workers in the building despite CDC rules calling for no new personnel in residential buildings. Workers hardly wore masks, and blocked entryways into the buildings, making it impossible to safely enter/exit. Due to poor communication between contractors and management, they allowed DRILLING to continue into the night. Residents were forced to suffer 12 hours of nonstop noise, this meant that on top of dealing with COVID-19 stresses, resident had to deal with drilling at 3:00 a.m., they were not properly compensated for such grave disturbances and violation of their renters rights. Management constantly fails to inform residents of future work being done in the building, and uses PR language to avoid giving any real answers."
"The building looks nice enough, but the management is awful. It's almost as if they don't want anyone living there. Ericka, who I believes handles the leasing, barely ever answered her email with questions that I had. She also never picked up her phone when you called her, she did text back occasionally after 3 days, but the communication was awful. On one occasion I called the building and they told me Ericka had spoken with me over the phone when she hadn't at all. Mark Borger does not check his emails OR his voicemail either. I can't tell you the amount of times both I AND my cosigner left him an email. I had not heard from him once over the 3 weeks that we tried to get the apartment (3 WEEKS). The only person who actually attempted contact was Destiny, who handles the co-signer documents, I think anyway. Not only that but she even CALLED ME BACK. She was the nicest of the lot (or so I assume because she's the only one who answers her phone) and I would recommend to go through her. As I mentioned, building is nice enough, management however is just awful."
"Extremely disappointed in their inexcusable leasing service. I emailed with the agent Ericka- confirming a tour date and time. I travelled from New York to see this property and a couple others. As the time was approaching I texted the woman asking if we should meet outside-- no response. Called twice-- no response. I left a voicemail 20 minutes after our appointment time explaining that I had another appointment coming up at another property. I never received any response or apology for this woman missing our appointment without any notice or acknowledgement after I travelled over four hours to see it."
