"Great location next to the Metro stop and a manager named Amanda that’s always attentive and available. Just a stone’s throw away for GW students. Repairs or maintenance calls never took more than a day. My first apartment and I would happily have stayed another year if I was still living in the city."
"My daughter has lived here for about a year now and we love it! The location is perfect, and her apartment is well cared for. The property manager Melissa is lovely, helpful, and always available when we need her. Definitely would recommend this location"
"I currently live here and I really do love this apartment! You really cannot beat the location, and the staff of the building is incredible. Amanda, the resident manager, is beyond helpful all of the time, both during the leasing process and through any other issues I run into. The maintenance staff is impressively quick as well. Any of the times I've submitted a maintenance request, it has been taken care of within a day. The apartment itself is stunning, and the kitchen area was recently redone. The only downside is that this building is on the older side, and there are some minor things that could be fixed, such as chipping paint and replacing some parts of the bathroom. Other than that, the price is amazing for the location and apartment."
"The new property manager, Amanda, is so nice! She cares about everyone living in the building and makes sure that any issue is resolved quickly and efficiently. She also focuses on building a community and holds social events. The location of the building is great and the apartments get a lot of natural light."
"By far the worst apartment building in Foggy Bottom. Do not be fooled by the low rent, this place is not worth it when you must deal with the manager and management company. I’ll start with the positive: the support staff here is doing their best. They will help you as much as they can, and will even apologize for the manager’s behavior. If you do end up living here, try to get one of their numbers for emergencies. No quality staff can outweigh the Elise manager though. She refuses to correspond via email, choosing to instead call you or text. This is because she doesn’t want to have any physical evidence and instead create conversations that never happened. We hadn’t corresponded much before moving in. However, she yelled and lectured me for two hours when I went to pick up my keys, declaring that my roommates and I were not adults, that we were horrible people, and that she was near cancelling our lease. Mind you, none of these problems were ever mentioned to me nor my roommates in the two months before we moved in. This yelling and complaining about our irresponsibility continued for that year, even though the manager continued to lose documents, forget emails, and forget that we had paid rent. I have also spoken to other previous tenants that she has driven them to tears at times with how cruel she can be. Then, one week, I lost my room key and mail key. Both roommates were out for over a week, so I asked the front desk for a replacement mail key because I had already made a replacement room key earlier. The manager then told me that I would have to pay to replace the whole lock because she did not have a back up key. Thankfully my roommate’s parents had an extra and were able to ship it to me. I moved out first of my roommates. I had cleared all of my things out of the room and cleaned my area. The manager came to do the final inspection, and then yelled at me for their being trash in the bathroom trash bin. Then, she called me mean and difficult to work with in front of my parents, my roommates, and my roommates’ parents. Just had to get one final kick in after a year of yelling, horrible names, and also lead paint. Yes, the walls are covered in lead paint, and they chip. So if you really want to live in a building where the manager yells at you weekly, the management company does not care, and your food might get lead paint chips in it, come right in. Otherwise, just spend the extra $100 a month for decent management anywhere else in DC."
