"While I enjoyed my time at the Wellington, my experience moving out has utterly ruined the company in my eyes. To make a long story short, the Wellington made a clerical error when issuing my security deposit return, including the guarantor on the check despite that individual never making any financial contributions to the deposit nor the rent or utilities. It was understood from the very beginning that this person was only there to boost the credit of my application. Despite directly inquiring about the necessity of the gurner's signature, which I was told was not needed, the signature is, in fact, needed. The Wellington has told me that they would reissue the check, only for me to check back with them a literal month later to find out they won't. The only path of recourse I'm offered is to contact their corporate office, whom they only provide a single phone number for (no names, no emails). Well, as it turns out, the corporate office NEVER answers or returns phone calls, nor do they respond to emails (I had to dig to find it), nor do they respond to social media inquiries. In essence, I have no way of moving this up the ladder or of holding someone accountable. The utter incompetence, the lying, the lack of accountability, and the lack of communication are simply too much for me to leave a review any higher than 1 star. Do not move in with a facility owned by Elme Communities."
"If you want to be an afterthought then move here... No heads up about mail, no understanding about where the USPS mail carrier could have put my package upon moving in, no one told me to put my NAME in the mailbox or USPS carriers will not deliver your mail, and no understanding of how to go about using electric vehicle chargers in the Trove garage that Wellington residents pay for. I was given a bad key fob for the garage and a sticker for the car that did not work properly. I went to Wellington staff and I was referred to the Trove manager was much more conscientious than Tara was. When asked if the property had any EV chargers, I was told no, but the garage has 3 of them. There seems to be a lack of clear checklist items for leasing managers to give information to new residents, as if new residents would know this information. I had to figure out the solutions myself or get help from Trove. A checklist would be a simple solution to all of these issues, because then residents will be informed. Numerous dogs in peoples apartments bark relentlessly at random times, and residents smoke weed inside the building with no accountability. So yea... I wouldn't recommend living here."

In short, I am extremely pleased with my time here and would like to express my utmost satisfaction. First and foremost, the management team at Wellington has been exceptional. Their professionalism, promptness, and willingness to go above and beyond have truly made my stay enjoyable. Whether it's addressing maintenance requests or providing useful information, they have consistently demonstrated their commitment to resident satisfaction. Speaking of maintenance, I must commend the maintenance staff for their outstanding work. They are always quick to respond and resolve any issues that arise. It's comforting to know that there is a reliable team in place to ensure the functionality and comfort of the apartments. The amenities offered at Wellington are truly impressive. The well-maintained swimming pool, fitness center, and community lounge are fantastic additions that make living here even more enjoyable. It's evident that the management team has put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and vibrant community for residents. One aspect that deserves special mention is the location of the apartment complex. Wellington is situated in a prime area, close to various shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment options. The convenience of having everything within reach has been a significant advantage for me. Furthermore, the sense of community at Wellington is remarkable. The friendly and diverse neighbors have made it easy for me to settle in and feel at home. It's wonderful to be part of such a warm and welcoming environment. I cannot recommend Wellington enough. The management team's dedication, the excellent maintenance service, the exceptional amenities, and the vibrant community all contribute to making this apartment complex a truly fantastic place to live. "We have been living here with our family for the 4th year. I was interested in other apartments in the area. But I couldn't find a place as clean and spacious as Wellington. Close to Pentagon City, there is a free shuttle service to Pentagon City in the morning and evening on weekdays."
"*UNSAFE - DO NOT MOVE HERE* Summary: -The ceiling in my apartment collapsed after a water leak in the pipes above me. -Asked management for a financial resolution due to mold/damages/future risk. -They belittled me and said no. They are moving forward and asking for a rent increase with a renewed lease. -Key quotes from their (offhand, insensitive, argumentative) email response: -"We do not have drywall at Wellington it is plaster which is a harder surface causing it harder to have issues such as mold"... -"If you are stating, you had damages in your home from the leak please reach out to your renters insurance that would be what it is there for". If you're in the market for an apartment, find another place to live. The management totally lacks professionalism and doesn't treat their residents with any basic decency or human understanding. ******* Management has refused to recognize the severity of the damage and the potential for further collapse, the mold that exists and is growing around the hole, and the risk of further injury/sickness that the incident has presented. I don't feel safe sitting under any part of my living room. When I told management about the mold, they argued with me and told me "We do not have drywall at Wellington it is plaster which is a harder surface causing it harder to have issues such as mold"... The real kicker is that management then told me that they would not provide any sort of financial relief for living with this problem for nearly a month. In fact, they want me to renew my lease in a month at an increased rent for the same deteriorating apartment. The icing on the cake was having management explain renter's insurance to me like a 3rd grader, as if I didn't already have a policy or understand the concept. Aside from belittling me, they totally ignored the concept of a deductible and the out-of-pocket expenses I'll have for new furniture. Maintenance and the leasing agents (shoutout Ashlen and Keith) are awesome and true professionals. I love engaging with them, and this is no reflection of them or their performance. 4 years of living here and never missing a payment - doesn't matter."
