"The Whitmore is a lovely and affordable place to live in the Arlington area. All of the staff are very kind and helpful. Since the first day living there they’ve been responsive and willing to help. Samad in the leasing office is very personable and super easy to reach. He goes above and beyond to make sure tenants are having a good experience. The spaces are recently renovated and beautiful with a really nice pool and gym area to enjoy outdoor space. The location is also great being so close to bus stations and grocery stores. Really happy with my choice as a young professional living in the area."

"My roommate and I lived here for a year and couldn’t wait to terminate our lease and move out of here. People were also moving out in droves during the tail-end of our lease. A lot of the recent reviews for this place also seem pretty weird, makes me feel like a lot of the more recent positive reviews were paid for. My following issues were: - Suspicious utilities billing. I’ve never had an apartment complex set up utilities for me before and it’s clear to see why. We had very expensive utility bills with essentially no breakdown of what we were even paying for - Cockroaches upon moving in - Mice after a few months of moving in - Kitchen always had a sewer smell that maintenance was never able to fix - almost non-existent management. The office was almost never staffed during normal business hours - both when moving in and moving out, we reserved the freight elevators weeks in advance. Lo and behold, they didn’t do anything and made both processes much more of a hassle. This is also pretty indicative of managements assistance during other processes (I.e. they do their best not to do anything to help you) - common areas were dirty, smelly and felt like they were rarely cleaned. - not their fault but endless construction on columbia pike makes this a terrible location. - security was…suspect. Front and side doors weren’t being locked during the night for the first few months of our lease so anyone could wander in. The units themselves are kind of nice, and there are some nice amenities but this place is terribly managed and had many other glaring issues."

"My brother and I (two young professionals in our mid-thirties) just finished living here for the last six years and I can honestly say it’s hands-down the best place we’ve ever lived! Excellent accommodations (pool, gym, common area) and a great location in Arlington. Always felt like everything I could need was a short walk or drive away as far as food and entertainment goes. Most of the utilities are included in the rent. Nice, thick walls in apartments so there was almost never any noise issues and plenty of parking. And, Samad, the apartment manager is truly a stand-up guy who always went out of his way to make sure that we were taken care of. Would definitely recommend!!"
