"We visited Big Stone Gap in June. The staff at the Welcome Center were amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. What a wonderful town and so much happening there. A lot of history in the area. Be sure to visit Good Times Pizza (esp. on Karaoke Nite) and Curklins and The Trail of the Lonesome Pine Drama. Even the Greenbelt Trail was a wonderful walk and a great way to see the town. Hope to visit again."

"We were there 7/17, while exploring "The Crooked Road." Although we were there on the wrong day to see the drama and some museums, Jillian provided interesting detail about the town and its history. She was very personable and went out of her way to help us. She directed us to the walking trail and provided a safe place to stow the guitar while we walked. When we returned, she had bottles of cold water ready."
"I cannot think of enough nice things to say about the lovely people that worked here. They were wonderful, full of information and even put a packet together for me. I have quite a bit of family in the local cemetery but couldn't find one of them. I called to see if they knew how to find the plot and they called me back quickly with the answer. They are just wonderful!!!"
