Hickory Hills Apartments

"Wanted to call & check availability BUT I can't find the right number for these apartments anywhere.... Does anyone have the RIGHT number for the office??"

"Let me start with these facts. 1. I have never lived at this location. 2. I manage another USDA property. Along with non Income based single and multifamily properties. I would NEVER take on another Income Based Property. Management isnt paid well at all and the sheer amount of work it takes to keep a property decent is insane. I'd quit my property but I love the Owners and Tenants so much I can't. 3. I have lived in Income based housing. 15 years ago...but I've done it. 4. I am not a friend of the current or previous manager. I have met both but do not know them personally. I was offered this job before Amy was hired. I researched the company that owns Hickory Hills and found that they will only pay to fix what is necessary. Big company's that have a large portfolio often run on bare bones budgets. Which, in turn, falls on the manager to repair what they can with what funds they have available. A lot of time we repair things ourselves so that a tenant will have a decent home. As a manager you have. No power. Your job is to basically be the 'bad guy's. In my experience, if a tenant doesnt like me enough to leave a scathing review...they have pushed and pushed with paying late rents, violating the lease, ect. Until you have no choice but to terminate the lease or evict. This is a USDA property. If you have issue you can call the actual owners or the USDA if there is an issue. No one can make you pay money if you do not owe it. You either do or don't owe. If you dont like where you live...move."

"This is a horrible place to live. Been here two years and you do get harassed they been through so many mangers because they can not do their job. The regional manager just came on into our apartment without notice. The other people will lie and complain on you for nothing at all if they don't like you. These low based income apartment is unfair and doesn't consider your income they will change your rent for no reason. And if you just owe a dollar they will not let it go they will harass you on that. This new manager does not know how to count and has gotten our rent wrong and demanded more money. Can not wait to leave this place. Stay clear."

"Will NEVER answer the phone. They have signs posted to rent but you can't rent if you don't answer. Anyone have corprates number?"
