"Charging my VW e-Golf at the Bedford Welcome Center Clipper Creek charger. There are two spaces for EVs, one for J1772 and one for the Tesla Destination charger."
"Very nice welcome center. Clean. Well organized. Great displays including an antique fire truck. Helpful staff. Clean bathrooms. Lots of information, maps and guides."
"I have been to many welcome centers throughout the East Coast and this one is by far the most amazing. Not only are the staff friendly and welcoming from front desk to guided tours to maintenance staff, the facility itself is spotless and has an array of Virginia memorabilia. There is a small gift shop and a fireman's band museum. If you have plans to visit the D-Day Memorial, you must purchase tickets here. I could say many things but I'll leave it at amazing!"
"Checked out the Bedford D Day Memorial. I totally recommend anyone to swing in and check it out if they are in the area. The guide covered lots of information about the Bedford Boys and their part in the D Day invasion."
"This is definitely the best visitor center I have ever been to! This place has a treasure trove of history and events happening in the area. The staff goes above and beyond to help with questions and making people feel welcome here. This place is an amazing resource for learning about Bedford and the D-DAY Memorial."
