"I would not buy any home listed by this horrible company, neither I'd ever list my home with them. There is unprofessional behavior which I had to face, as a buyer who tried to work with their realtors. I tried to work with 2 offices of this realty, including Marlinton office, and their broker as well - the experience was about the same each time, horrible. Their 1st office - I never was even able to reach it, they never returned my calls and never answered the phone. Their 2nd office in Marlinton, the realtor who works there (female), was acting very unprofessional, one would think she never had any basic training realtor ethics. Her listings were never getting updated on MLS to contingent or pending status, when they went under contract, and remained listed as active homes, for long weeks after they went under contract, wasting buyer' time calling her (never reacheable and not reaturning calls) or their useless office. This is against MLS rules and this agent should be kicked out of MLS for doing this. Calls are never returned, info on homes not provided. Their office assistant is very smug and unpleasant, talking down to you, was never passing a call to her despite her being in the office (she was always too "busy" to answer a call), he was not providing her mobile number at the same time he would not give any information on the listing, and stated no other realtors work for that agency (which was not true).It was a total waste of time to deal with this disrespectful of buyers and unethical agency. After more than one bad experience I had to contact their broker. He was also unprofessional, acted with one thing in mind, seems like : to protect and to cover up their unethical agent. I'm suspecting that they only respond to people whom they believe ar locals or at least not immigrants such as myself, not to sell to those they want to keep out of the area (which is not legal). They don't change their listings to pending or contingent (against MLS rules) making it's difficult to tell if the home is active or if they simply refuse to sell it to someone like you, a minority - especially since you feel palpable hostility from their staff, just trying to buy a home. This practice, which is against MLS rules, creates opportunities for discrimination and I believe the authorities should be stepping in here and taking a look at what's going on."

"I live in my apartment for a lil past a year and they were the Best Landlords I've ever had. I never got to meet them in face but I talked to him over messenger and I would grantee you to anyone .."

"So, l am explaining my change of my review...Jamie was the agent we worked with initially and he was great. Everyone needs time off occassionally and we get that, but in his absence, no one was assigned to service his listings apparently. When a family crisis arose and MY agent had to leave town, l reached out to the company to solve the problem with THEIR listing and requested that the broker call or step in to help out and was told thats not how we do things here...things progressed from bad to worse when Jamie was unable to be contacted. I have learned that Marlinton and surrounding areas are in what is "affectionately" referred to as a "quiet zone" and it was very likely he was unable to receive messages wherever he was at...making the issue of him reaching out to solve the problem with his listing impossible apparently. This is where it would have been helpful for the broker to step in and help out...he and /or she did not...would l use this company in any capacity in the future??? No, not if l could help it. Everyone deserves time off and no matter how good you might be, if the company you work for is not "team player" oriented, it gives you a bad reputation..."

"I received a notification from Zillow that there was a new listing that fit my search criteria. There was no pictures on the listing so I emailed the realtor who was KC Halstead at Red Oak Realty and asked for pictures he replied with a generic reply asking me to contact him for further information. I replied again asking for pictures to be emailed and I received screw you as a reply! That is very unprofessional and I will never do business with them!"
