"I see they are removing posts they don't want you to see. Do not move here, the maintenance man has no knowledge what so ever of how to run and keep up this site. The shrubs and trees are way overgrown, people are cutting their own hedges and grass. Things break all the time, toilets, ac heat, and you report it and it takes weeks because the maintenance man hides the request. The carpets are so old they are dry rotted, windows are barley sealed, my ac still halfway works. All in all you have to threat to out rent in escrow before they do anything at all. Not to mention all this is going on and you are paying 1090.00 a month in rent."
"If I could give them less than one ⭐ I would nothing like it used to be management lies maintenance is lazy he doesn't know how to do actual work he LIES and says he repaints the apartments lies when he says he installs new carpet LIES cedar forest used COVID 19 as a reason not to do regular business but they could go shopping go on vacations basically go any where they claimed they couldn't do anything from maintenance to paying rent so we had to pay extra just to pay rent online the maintenance guy spent more time running from work than he did actually working! My mother died we had to take her off life support but we still paid her rent she never was late or not paid! We went in cleaned her apartment from ceiling to floors walls doors the whole nine yards we shampooed carpets swept mopped the apartment was move in ready spotless impeccable inside and out! But when it came to the deposit refund we were told my mom left over $600 in damages which is a absolute lie they found a spot on the master bedroom carpet that was there you couldn't even see it unless you searched clearly it was there prior to move in so they claimed to install new carpet after move out! So basically they stole a deposit from a 75yr old elderly lady who was a great tenant left her apartment in impeccable condition cedar forest apartments in Covington Virginia are theives!OH LET NE ALSO SAY WHEN SHE GOT HER KEYS DURING MOVE-IN HER APARTMENT WAS FILTHY BROKEN APPLIANCES THAT WERE FILTHY EVERY ROOM WAS DIRTY BUT MANAGER SAID OH IM SO SORRY WE COULDNT CLEAN BECAUSE OF COVID-19 SO WE HAD TO CLEAN IT AND AIR IT OUT BECAUSE OF CIGARETTE SMOKE ODORS !"
