The Winchester Visitor Center Gift Shop is your one-stop destination for all things Winchester and Frederick County. Located at 1400 South Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, Virginia, our store and travel agency is staffed with helpful and friendly travel counselors who can assist you with reservations, driving directions, and any questions you may have.
Open daily from 9 am until 5 pm (closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day), our center offers ample parking for motorcoaches and RVs.
In addition to providing information and assistance, we also have a Civil War Orientation Center where visitors can learn about the area's Civil War history. Our orientation video offers a brief overview of Winchester-Frederick County, and our gift shop is stocked with books, apparel, food items, local beer and wine, postcards, and other souvenirs.
Don't miss our special exhibition, "Becoming Patsy Cline", which tells the story of the country music icon's early years. After exploring the center, you can enjoy our picnic area and family-friendly amenities in nearby Jim Barnett Park and Wilkins Lake.
